What Plan it Is?

Having a day-to-day plan helps you achieve smaller tasks and those smaller tasks, when combined, become a big achievement soon. This smaller achievement also gives you a sense of pride and motivation to carry on towards your ultimate goal in life. Planning is very important, especially in today’s time when the time fades so quickly in social media when we just scroll aimlessly or sitting idle without doing any work. It has already become difficult for the generation youth to work on their priorities and achieve their life goals

I like to daydream a lot, infant daydreaming is one of my hobbies. In my daydreaming I make a plan that is obviously not related to work or study, it is just related to how I want to feel, Where I want to travel, and what all activities I have to carry out there. What I have planned is to travel the whole world with my friends.

What would Need to do to Achieve It?

As I love travelling especially when I am with my friends, I plan to have a trip that covers most of the beautiful places on this earth. But being realistic there are so many years between my daydreaming and fulfilling them. Undoubtedly I need to work hard and earn lots of money to fulfil this dream of mine. And I have to be in touch with my friends with whom I want to travel in order to convince them to be free when we all are eligible to roam around the world. I am Adamant to make this dream come true hence I have made small plans for it. For it I need money, social support, and entry to the countries where I want to go. It will be definitely a fun experience where I am in happy places with the people I want to be.

How Long You have had this Plan?

I have been planning this since my Teenage. Once I was sitting with my friends in the canteen of my school and we had a long discussion over travelling that we missed the period that was followed by a break. So we bunked the class and we made a good plan about how we can do it, how much money we will need and how we can go about it. So it has been 8-9 years since I had this plan in mind.

Explain how Difficult It would be to Fulfill it?

It is difficult but my willingness to make it come true is bigger than the difficulty level. I Love to travel and I have started saving my pocket money, and I keep on reminding my friends about the plan I have. It is important for me to fulfil this dream thus, everybody knows my seriousness towards it.

Follow-up IELTS Cue Card Questions

After you have given the description of the cue card topic given to you, you will be given a few follow-up questions that you have to answer. It is hence suggested that you should give an authentic description of the cue card topic because the follow-up questions can be related to your description also. But if you have just memorized the answers of any other person you may get into a checkmate situation where you are not able to give the answer to the follow-up questions.

1. Do You Believe that People Need a Daily Plan?

Yes, people need a daily plan to achieve the bigger goal in their life. The small daily plan leads to the achievement of higher goals, and moreover, daily plans help us manage our tasks easily without any delay.

2. Do You Think People can Still do their Tasks if they Don’t Plan Them?

Yes, it is possible to do tasks without describing a plan in your life, but there are very high chances that the outcome won’t be as efficient as it would be if you have described a plan in your life. Not having a strategic plan results in quite a lot of wastage of time as well as thoughts when you do not have tasks planned.

3. Do You Think Planning is Important or is it a Waste of Time?

Yes, planning is imperative, I remember a time when I started using Facebook and all I did was uploading photos to get attention from the people who are sitting far away from me and the majority of whom I don’t even know and won’t get to meet in my entire life, and this aimless posting, liking, sharing, communicating went for about 2 years as I recall. In those 2 years, Facebook became literally a hub of my thoughts, learning, spending time, and putting most of my energy into it.

Today when I look back the realization hit me hard for wasting two very crucial years of my adulthood which could have otherwise put into purposeful work if I had a plan in my life, that age isn’t about getting too serious but no age justifies wastage of time and if not a rigid then one must have a small target at every point of their lives.

4. The Plans I have for my 20s that I Have Tried to make as Realistic and Achievable as Possible

To a few, it may sound unfruitful but it isn’t necessary to take your every step towards money-making. When I was a kid, my sister brought some plants in pots and for some strange and completely unexpected self-interest, I started becoming fond of taking care of the plants. I watered the plants, made sure the withered leaves and stems weren’t collected in the pot and it soon became addictive. I could not take myself off from nourishing the plants on a regular basis.

It didn’t give me a sense of pride or is unlikely to lead to making money in the coming time but I am up for it.

IELTS Speaking Part 2: IELTS Cue Card/ Candidate Task Card.

Describe a plan (not related to work or study) you have for the future.

and explain how difficult it would be to fulfil it.

Model Answer 1:

Some time ago, when I was still a high school student, one of my favourite teachers told me that you fail to plan for your future, you are actually planning to fail. Not to mention, of course, I really liked what my teacher had to me at that time. However, even though, the plan, I want to discuss here, doesn’t involve anything about my work, these valuable words still have some relevance to the noble plan I have. And the plan is to help people.

Anyway, the plan, I am talking about, is to open a medical and healthcare clinic in my hometown where patients would be able to receive treatments by paying a very minimal charge. This clinic wouldn’t only treat all kinds of patients – patients who only live in my city – but also provide all kinds of diagnostic facilities. The clinic would also house at least 5 top-class specialist doctors from different medical fields. By the way, I have had this plan deep in my heart for almost 10 years since the time I started to notice that medical treatment costs in my hometown, along with the rest of my country, were sky-rocketing fast. This high healthcare costs, in my opinion, was also contributed to the fact that more and more people moving into the city, where I live, from rural areas and thus constant pressure on the medical treatment facility that was already stretched before.

Anyway, I know very well that implementing this plan of mine is going to be hugely challenging, primarily because I don’t have that kind of money with me. So, I would need to unite a group of rich but dedicate people to spend in the common cause of helping humanity which certainly is not going to be easy. Of course, my parents have a small piece of land in the town, so finding a proper place in the town for the clinic is not going to be an issue, but getting the permission for building this clinic from the proper government authority is also going to be a huge challenge.

Model Answer 2:

I have a plan to establish a playground for kids and a club for the adults in my hometown. This is something I missed a lot in the place where I grew up and that’s why I have the plan and determination to do exactly this.

Establishing a kid’s playground adjacent to a club for grown-up people would not be an easy task. I will need to manage the necessary budget, manpower and financial support to actually do that. I will have to be financially rich and connected with the local authority and political leaders to start the plan I have. Honestly, I have this plan for a very long. When I got admitted in my high school, the realisation started popping up in my mind that these are two things that our community is missing although they are very important. I knew that was something pretty tough to achieve, but yet I started fostering this tough plan in my mind.

As I already said, that would be pretty tough as it involves money, space, power, and people’s involvements. There would be lots of obstacles and I would have to face and resolve in order to fulfil the plan I have. The determination and goodwill along with the prudent decision would be required. If I do not possess great enthusiasm and strength of mind, it would become almost impossible to achieve it.

Sample Answer 3:
Travelling fascinates me more than anything else. So, I want to travel in the future. I want to visit the other countries of the world and gain first-hand knowledge and experience. I would like to thank you for this wonderful cue card topic.

To meet my desire, I would need some specific things. The most important point about travelling is time. I need to manage enough time to spend out of my country. In fact, people cannot move out of their own states owing to the time deficiency. So, I have to manage plenty of times to travel around. Secondly, I would need a sufficient amount of money. Without a complete budget and arranging the money, it would be insane to move out to see the world around. So, I have to arrange money as well. Travelling with a companion is better and has some positive impacts. Hence, I also may need a companion for me.

Since an early age, I am fond of books and have read various types of books so far. Most of the books were travelling and adventure related. I have an unquenchable thirst to see the world. So, the plan was hidden in my mind since my childhood. Gradually, the plan started spreading its wings in the mind. And now I dream to travel across the world.

In reality, it would be hard for me to fulfil the plan. First of all, I am unable to manage enough time to travel. In fact, travelling out of the country requires a great deal of free time and complexities. One needs enough time to handle the things but I do not have the time to invest in solving the issues. Arranging money is another fact. But I will try my best to organize everything even it takes five more years for me.
