Часть людей пишут, что не могут активировать Microsoft Office даже после переустановки, но главная их ошибка – не удалить остатки приложения. После простой деинсталляции софта всегда остаются данные пользователя, конфиги, временные файлы. Причина
Эта проблема возникает из-за повреждения файла XRM-MS в папке C:\Windows\System32\spp\tokens.

KMS Error Code : 0xC004F017 Software Licensing Service reported license is not installed
I am trying to use offline activation to activate MS office 2016 Professional Plus on a dell laptop via KMS.bat file that calls another file. The KMS server (Windows Server 2016 Version 1607 OS build 14393.447) is setup properly (though not connected to the Internet) with a licensed KMS license of Office16KMSHostvL_KMS_Host_Edition and I can ping the server from the tablet connected over a switch. DNS lookup on the tablet shows me the IP address of the KMS server. The script errors out: 0xC004F017 Software Licensing Service reported license is not installed Can someone give me verification commands to isolate the problem?
Since this case is related to Office KMS activation, I add office-itpro tag to involve Office expert to discuss.

First I suggest you get Office Client KMS activation diagnostic tool and Office KMS Host Activation diagnostic tool from the article Troubleshoot volume activation of Office. Please follow the steps to troubleshoot the issue.

OK, I will download and run the KMS diagnostic tools. In the interim:
I ran the cscript ospp.vbs /act on a tablet. It failed with ERROR CODE:0x80072EE7 with ERROR DESCRIPTION: Run the following: cscript ospp.vbs /ddescr:0x80072EE7.
I ran the recommended command above and it errored out a second time: ERROR CODE:0x80072EE7 ERROR DESCRIPTION: The server name and address could not be resolved.
nslookup from the tablets with the ip address of the image server (#.#.#.#) manually set for DNS in the IPv4 TCP settings on the NIC adapter fails:
DNS request timed out Server:unknown Address: #.#.#.#
I could not find ospp.vbs on the server to run it.
Note: The is a Microsoft hypervisor V2 running on the box which I think is where DNS is configured. I inherited this server so I don’t know much about it.
