About [ ]
The Dreamworld is another world existing in the Realm of Mind, created jointly by Roland, Zero, and the traitorous God’s Apostle, Lan. Usually only those with extraordinary magic power such as Transcendent Witches and Demon Lords can enter the Realm of Mind, and only the Demon King was known to be capable of making a world of his own there. Despite this, Roland, who can not use magical power, has unconsciously created a world far more complete than the Demon King’s. The Dreamworld is not just a dream, but an actual place of existence within the Realm of Mind, and was only named ‘Dreamworld’ due to the fact that Roland can only visit this world in his sleep.
The Dreamworld is mostly occupied by humans and reflects Roland’s original world with thriving modern technology and immense knowledge. Everyone who Zero has ever defeated, including demons, exists in this world with no memories of their former life, and conveniently enough, all live in the same apartment building, with a doorway to their former live’s memories hidden in their closets. Demons in this world are simply considered as another race of human, indigenous to the Cargarde Peninsula, and are not considered enemies. Instead this world is threatened by Erosions and humans corrupted by the erosions known as Fallen Evils. It is the Martialist Associate’s duty to protect this world from Erosion and defeat the Fallen Evils.
Martialist Association [ ]
Martialist are humans who are capable of using this world’s form of magic known as «Force of Nature,» which increases the users physical abilities such as speed, strength, and durability. Martialist may choose to join the Martialist Association and fight the Erosion and Fallen Evils. The Martialist Association operates in the whole world, and has several Branches each in a different city, exclusively developed to contain its Branch Office and all other supporting facilities inside it. Prism City and Sky City are some of them.
Although they are not forced to join the association, those who do are granted money, fame and power through the martialist fighting tournaments, and those who don’t often fall victim to, or even become, Fallen Evils. These tournaments are used to spread awareness, fund their operations, and exist as a form of training for the Martialist to keep them fit for battle. There is a divide between traditionalist, who only care about fighting the Fallen Evils, and the Modern Martialist, who prioritize the tournaments.
Erosions and Fallen Evils [ ]
Erosions are voids in the Dreamworld, where the Dream world is connected to or being devoured by the the Realm of Mind. Through the Erosions, those in the physical world with high enough magical ability to enter the Realm of Mind, such as the human Transcendent Witch Scroll, or the Demon Lord Valkries, are able to enter the Dreamworld.
Likewise, God’s Apostles can also move from the Realm of Mind and into the Dreamworld via the Erosions, and do so with the goal of spreading the erosion until it completely consumes the Dreamworld, thus returning it back to the Realm of Mind. Fallen Evils are humans corrupted by the Erosions and thus serve the God’s Apostles.
When Roland kills a Fallen Evil or a God’s Apostle and consumes their Force of Nature, some of the damage done to the Dreamworld by the erosions is mended and the world stabilizes.
Graycastle Design Bureau [ ]
The Graycastle Design Bureau was established by Roland within the Dreamworld, to think up solutions as how to quickly and efficiently modernize the Kingdom of Graycastle in the physical world. Originally consisting of just a small team of old timers and college enthusiast, it was only capable of working on just one or two projects at a time, but after Roland reveals to the martialist Association that he created their world and of the plight both worlds face, they quickly allocate more land, manpower, and resources to him, transforming it into a full state department capable of working on dozens of projects at the same time.
Effects on the Realm of Mind [ ]
«In that case… the Dream World is already interfering with your plan?»
«That’s right. Not only does it occupy lots of resources and influences the stability of the core—as you should have already noticed. The magic users in the world are decreasing. This is all a symptom of the Realm of Mind being overtaxed. In order to prevent the Cradle’s structure from collapsing, I have to return everything to its original state.» [1]

Makes you painfully aware of how small the remaining habitable lands truly is huh
Probably not at proper scale.Kings city seems too close if compared to The distance between Willow town and border town is.
Hey man, thanks for translating this light novel. Honestly it’s one of the best out there and I’m happy to be able to keep reading.
Man if Roland manages to reclaim the Concealing Forest, then his city’ll be as big as the Kingdom of Dawn
As always, thanks for your hard work.
wth midnight post
The red city of the devils would be off the map on the left side right after that mountain?
Hey man I’m wondering where is the endless cape located (chp 801)
Almost like south east asia
This brings to mind some interesting ideas. Roland surely understands the value of water based transportation. So how will he connect Border Town to the ocean? A canal? Or perhaps a train tunnel? Given enough time, and a few witches, this won’t be an issue. And the easy access to the ocean will bring him a new source of food, domination over the sea, and better contact with Sleeping island…
He was planning to make a túnel but couldnt due to time.
The w itch in change had to go Back to tilly faction.
Damn need to reread, cant remember the w itch name nor the name of the place tilly witchs are living

City of Neverwinter
City of Neverwinter (无冬城), formerly known as Border Town (边陲镇) [1] is the new capital city of the Kingdom of Graycastle. After Roland’s second Month of Demons and completion of the road between the former Border Town and Longsong Stronghold, he decided to merge them together to form the new city. After merging, Border Town was referred to as Border Area and Longsong Stronghold as Longsong Area instead.
Contents
Geography [ ]
Neverwinter City is located in the most western part of the Graycastle Kingdom, bordered in the north by the Northern Mountain Slope and in the west by vast Hidden Forest. To the east, a road leads to the Longsong Stronghold. On its south runs the Redwater River and going further south there is another Mountain Range, which gives way then to the Sea.
From the start, the establishment of the Border Town was to provide an early warning to the Longsong Stronghold. Therefore the town was set between the slope of the North Mountain and the Chishui River. As Roland puts it, Border Town was initially built to serve as ‘cannon fodder’. [2]
Background [ ]
Border Town was established roughly 30 years before Roland Wimbledon’s arrival, a young place compared to Longsong Stronghold’s 200 years of history. [3] It was set up by Duke Ryan’s ancestor to be an outpost with the intention to serve as an early warning to the evil beasts’ invasion. However, the pioneers discovered a mine rich with ores and gemstones in the Northern Mountain Slope and so it became practically a small municipality. Every year the locals mined gemstones and ores, exchanging them with the stronghold in order to gain shelter and food for the winter, however they didn’t know it wasn’t a fair trade. They went into the Stronghold for hiding throughout the winter. They often scammed the people of Border Town by purchasing high-quality animal furs at low prices.
Two years before Roland’s arrival, the Months of Demons which happens annually has lasted for almost 4 months. Because the mined ore was only enough for three months worth of food, the greedy city official Reynolds who was responsible for supplies refused to provide additional grain. [4] It caused starvation among Border Town’s population and the deaths of nearly one-fifth of its population (
500), which. Despite some nobles’ complaints, Reynolds wasn’t punished as he was Duke Ryan’s son-in-law. [5]
The original citizens of Border Town consist of many people who didn’t take the church’s teachings seriously, and it can be assumed that Karl van Bate was the only one to be teaching them the church’s beliefs. Therefore it was easy for Roland to convince the original 2,000 population to accept witches alongside them over the duration of 3 to 4 months of isolation.
Population [ ]
When Roland Wimbledon arrived in Border Town, it counted 2000 people. [6] After accepting refugees from all over the country, the number of residents exploded exponentially. So much so that, right before the ‘Project of a Million’ was put to practice it had 200 thousand people [7] and right after the Elanor Skycruiser took off the population exceeded 1 million people. [8]
Economy [ ]
At the start, the main exports of the Border Town were from mining and hunting, and the bulk of the imports were food items. Everything would be transported through Longsong Stronghold or directly through the Redwater River from Willow Town. [9]
The mining exports contained all kinds of minerals, like iron, copper, sulfur, rock crystal, ruby, sapphire, with an annual output value of 1000 gold royals. [3] The minerals exported by the town weren’t paid for with the kingdom’s gold royals, instead they were paid for with the foodstuffs that arrived, as the Longsong Stronghold had the trade monopoly.
Roland’s first policy was breaking the embargo, in order to stop the unfair trade with Longsong Stronghold. He started trading directly with Willow Town, selling ores and gemstones at market price and buying food, saltpeter and refined metals. [5] Indirectly under Lightning’s influence, the witch brought in Margaret, Roland’s main saltpeter supplier and a good merchant. Through Margaret, Roland was introduced to many merchants who wished to purchase his specialized products such as perfume, hot-air balloons, the steam engine and other unique stuff.
Agriculture was introduced and expanded, leading to a situation where the domestic production could sustain alone the entire population. Serfs are allowed to retain 30% of the wheat production, and that can only be sold to the State at a fixed price.
Industrialization allowed for the increase of productivity in the mines, smelting of metals and also for the very lucrative export of steam engines.
With the setting of the convenience market, a diverse assortment of innovative products were offered to the residents, such as perfumed soap, wine, mirrors and mushrooms. [10] Amenities like public bathrooms and piped water were also implemented.

In chapter 1211, Mystery moon failed to apply breaks on steam-powered car and rushed towards roland, witches like Andrea, Iffy, Lotus tried to stop the car without any concern for Mystery moon inside, Andrea was even willing to shoot at the car.

Aphra sneaked into the castle with and transformed a church memeber into Wimbledon III & they abducted the real king while in the presence of two extraordinary witches Tilly and Ashes who can sense magic power (since, it was before royal decree tilly was still in the castle). Considering the amount of god’s stone the castle had, it’d be pretty difficult without Isabella’s help, but it’d be more difficult for 2 witches to sneak into castle without getting sensed by two extraordinaries, especially one with enhanced intellect.
Plot-holes 1
In chapter 568 (end of spring season), according to Sean, Lesya is the Vice minster of Construction and in chapter 664 (during fall season), according to Mystery Moon, Hummingbird is the vice minister of Construction. It’s highly unlikely that Roland fired Lesya within few months considering he praised Lesya’s extraordinary skills and work attitude. Besides, hummingbird’s results was at the bottom of the class and she was still 19, so, it’s unreasonable for her to occupy any prominent position without any experience, unlike Lesya.

My favourite weapon in the novel:
I am currently reading chapter 600+ and trying fill the blank entries in webnovel page along the way. However, I am already facing couple of Problems along the way. The location of the war between Ronald’s Army and Church is one of them.
In Chapter 609 when Soli Daal, a church Archbishop, sieges Coldwind Town temporarily, his aid tells him that some people is guarding a place beneath Coldwind Ridge on the path of Impassable Mountain Range.
During battle with Soli Daal, a sniper, Dandy tells himself that they are «on the foot of Impassable Mountain Range».
Again in Chapter 619, a guard tells Isabella that the battle happed » on the foot of Coldwind Ridge».
Along these chapter, Ronald docks at somewhere and occupies a castel of an …
