We all know how hard it is to study at school. However, some subjects make our time at school more enjoyable. I am going to tell you about one of them. I adore this subject. This subject is called history.

This is the class I never skip. In this class, we learn about notable events of the past and great people such as the rulers of the kingdoms and countries. Some people call history boring but for me it is like a breath of fresh air. It is a shame that we have this subject only twice per week. Right now we are learning about the Middle Ages and it is exciting. Sometimes I imagine that I am a knight fighting in a Middle Ages battle.
Our teacher is also the reason why I love history. He is a very interesting speaker. It is a pleasure to listen to him. He also answers all our questions and helps with homework. I think when I grow up, I want to be a history teacher, too.

At secondary school students have a lot of subjects to study. Dan is new to school. He wants to learn about new subjects.
Dan: What subjects do you study at school?
Kate: Oh, lots of them. But my favourite is Art. We usually draw or paint at the lesson.
Dan: Do you like Maths?
Kate: Oh, no. I don`t like to study numbers or count. It’s so boring.
Dan: What about History? I think it`s nice to learn about the past.
Kate: Yes, it is. I also like Geography, because we use maps and atlases.
Dan: Do you have IT?
Kate: Yes, we do. We have got many computers and a Science lab.
Dan: Ok, do you have a gym for PE lessons?

In Russian we must start with capital letters words after full stops, names and countries. But we shouldn`t capitalize days of the week, school subjects and months and pronoun I.
At school you often fill in the forms giving facts about yourself. In such forms you should give short answers.
Usually you are asked to answer the following questions:
What is your name?
What class are you in?
What school are you in?
What subjects do you choose?
To fill in the form you must write only facts, for example:
Dan Smith, 3D, secondary school, History and English.

I usually have 5 classes a day. After lessons are finished I go on a football field with my friends. As I have said before, I like many subjects but my favourite is Math. I love it because I’ve always liked precise sciences. Moreover, Math is very important for my future career as an economist. I think that I like school mostly because of great teachers. They not only learn us school subjects but also give useful instructions. In conclusion, I should say that my school years are great and I hope that the upcoming two years will be even better.
