Whenever I go into yahoo finance (but also other sites including cnn) the article I am reading gets diverted and I am directed to a website that has this message:

This happens every 20-30 seconds. How do I make this stop?

Did you ever get an answer?

I’m getting the same problem and it’s driving me insane,

Same problem with me as well.

I still have not gotten an answer as to why this is happening or how to fix it.

Please let me know if you have a solution!

This may not be helpful. but:

I just finished (I hope) cleaning up my system from a barage of ***. virus/worms/trojans/etc. from clicking on a bad link!

I have stepped up my security levels and am having many windows popping up and interupting what ever I am trying to do. I can not continue anything until I click the DENY button.

Anyways. the reason I point that out. now that I know what the security programs are ID’g and stopping, I can find out more regarding the specifics!

TO START WITH I WENT TO THE SOURCE.

«DOUBLECLICK» & «YAHOO». they are advertisement/tracking/data gathering processes/companies

Maybe all of you would get more answers by doing the same.

as you are not obviously getting any answers here @ MICROSOFT & probably won’t.

Obviously, something working in the background is calling or trying to access or upload something to another location. UNSUCCESSFULLY or you would never have known!

It may be your IE/OS, but more likely something invisible running on the website you are accessing!
