177-ое. Абсолютно все то же самое. Давайте с ним поступим так: что вы из него делали все, что у вас вызвало doubts (сомнения)?

10. «I (to invite) my friends to come to my place tomorrow – Я приглашу моих друзей прийти ко мне завтра». Можно Future Indefinite Tense – «I will invite…», можно Present Continuous Tense (Я как бы сейчас их уже приглашаю) – «I am inviting…». Кстати, вот здесь гарантированно будет will, а не shall даже для англичан. Потому что без удовольствия друзей не приглашают. Вот «В школу я завтра пойду», тут скорее всего будет «I shall…» у нормального ребенка. Как сказал блудный попугай? «В школу ходят одни дураки».

Еще раз спрашиваю: будем весь смотреть или только какие-то конкретные предложения? Up to you (от вас зависит). Всё? Всё.

1. «Mother (to cook) a very tasty dinner yester­day – Мама вчера готовила очень вкусный обед»: «Mother cooked…».

2. «Tomorrow Nick (not to go) to school – Завтра Ник не пойдет в школу»: «… will not go…».

3. «Look! My friends (to play) football for money – Посмотри, мои друзья играют в футбол на деньги»: «…are playing…». А почему «…are playing…»? Потому что «Look!», значит сию секунду посмотри.

4. «Kate (not to write) letters every day – Катя не пишет письма каждый день»: «…does not write…».

5. «You (to see) your friend yesterday? – Ты видел своего друга вчера?»: «Did you see…?».

6. «Your father (to go) on a busi­ness trip last month? – Твой отец в прошлом месяце ездил в командировку?»: «Did your father go…?».

7. «What Nick (to do) yesterday? – Что Ник делал вчера?»: «What did Nick do…?».

8. «When Nick (to get) up every morning? – Когда Ник встает каждое утро?»: «When does Nick get up…?».

9. «Where your mother (to go) tomorrow? – Куда твоя мама пойдет завтра?»: «Where will you mother go…?».

11. «He (not to play) the piano tomorrow – Он завтра на пианино не будет играть»: «He will not play…».

12. «We (to see) a very good film last Sunday – Мы поглядели очень хороший фильм в прошлое Воскресенье»: «We saw…». Кстати, это говорит о том, что они смотрели его в cinema – глагол saw. Если бы смотрели по телевизору – watched. Один и тот же фильм – в кинематографе – saw, по телевизору – watched.

13. «Your mother (to cook) every day? – Твоя мама готовит каждый день?»: «Does your mother cook…?».

14. «We (to make) a fire last summer – Мы разжигали костер прошлым летом»: «We made a fire…». Вот это интересное предложение. Fire это «огонь» дословно, но раз a – значит «костер», как образ уже. Что мы знаем про перевод Past Indefinite Tense на русский язык? Он может переводиться однократным действием и может переводиться многократными действиями. Значит, и «мы один костер разводили», и «мы костры разводили», но раз a, то, скорее всего, «мы развели костер».

15. «I (to spend) last summer at the sea-side – Я провел прошлое лето у моря (кромки моря – дословно)»: «I spent…».

16. «Where you (to spend) last sum­mer? – Где ты провел прошлое лето?»: «Where did you spend…?».

17. «Where he (to spend) next summer? – Где он проведет следующее лето?»: «Where will he spend…?».

18. «What mother (to do) now? – Что сейчас делает мама?»: «What is mother doing now?»

«— She (to cook) din­ner – Она готовит обед»: «She is cooking dinner».

19. «I (not to play) computer games yesterday – Я вчера не играл в компьютерные игры»: «I did not play…».

20. «Last Sunday we (to go) to the theatre – В прошлое воскресенье мы ходили в театр»: «… we went…». И «сходили» тоже «we went».

21. «I (to (meet) my friend yesterday – Я встретил моего друга вчера»: «I met…».

22. «I (to write) a letter to my cousin yesterday – Я писал письмо своему кузену вчера»: «I wrote…». И «Я писал», и «Я вчера написал».

23. «You (to write) a dicta­tion tomorrow? – Ты будешь завтра писать диктант?»: «Will you write a ….?».

24. «I (not to write) a report now – Я сейчас не пишу отчет»: «I’m not writing…».

Берем 180-ый. В нем просят выбрать из двух Continuous’ов: Present или Past.

«They (to play) volley-ball – Они играют в волейбол»: «… are playing».

«They (to play) volley-ball – Они играли в волейбол»: «… were playing…».

8. «You (to eat) ice-cream when I rang you up yesterday? – Ты ел мороженое когда я тебе вчера звонил?»: «Were you eating…?».

12. «Why she (to cry) when I saw her yesterday? – Почему она плакала, когда я увидел ее вчера?»: «Why was she crying…?». А который это случай Past Continuous’а? Контрольное действие (Вчера, когда я к нему пришел, он ел суп). Вот он этот случай.

13. «She (to read) the whole evening yesterday – Она читала вчера целый вечер»: «… was reading…». За счет какого ключевого слова? Whole и yesterday. Yesterday говорит о Past’е, whole говорит о Continuous’е.

14. «She (not to read) now – Она сейчас не читает»: «She is not reading now».

16. «What you (to do) now? – Что ты сейчас делаешь?»: «What are you doing now?».

«— I (to drink) tea – Я пью чай»: «I’m drinking tea».

17. «You (to drink) tea at this time yesterday? – Ты пил чай в это время вчера?»: «Were you drinking tea…?».

«— No, I (not to drink) tea at this time yesterday, I (to eat) a banana – Нет, вчера в это время я не пил чай, я ел банан»: «No, I wasn’t drinking tea…, I was eating a banana». Запомнил человек такое событие.

18. «My sister is fond of reading – Моя сестра увлекается чтением». Запоминайте модель «is fond of». Переводится на русский язык как «увлекается», причем, после модели «if fond of» почти всегда идет следующим герундий.

«She (to read) the whole evening yesterday, and now she (to read) again – Она вчера весь вечер читала, и сейчас снова читает»: «She was reading…, and now she is reading again».

19. «Look! My cat (to play) with a ball – Посмотрите! Мой кот играет с мячом»: «… is playing…».

20. «When I went out into the garden, the sun (to shine) and birds (to sing) in the trees – Я вышел из дома в сад, солнце светило и птицы пели на деревьях»: «…the sun was shining and birds were singing…». Здесь правильно перевести «вышел из дома в сад», потому что два предлога подряд: out – откуда-то, into – куда. А за счет чего здесь Past? За счет ключевого глагола в первой части (went).

Урок 34. Время Present Continuous в английском языке

Вы уже познакомились с такими временами в английском языке как Present Simple, Past Simple и Future Simple, которые, как правило, используются для обозначения различных фактов в настоящем, прошедшем и будущем.

Однако, как вы помните, англичане пользуются не только этими временами, также для них важно выразить то, что происходит в данный момент, и для той цели необходимо время Present Continuous.

Например:
I read every day. — I’m reading now.

Как очевидно из примера, оба предложения отличаются не только по смыслу (одно действие повторяется, а другое происходит сейчас), но и по форме.

Образование Present Continuous

Present Continuous образуется при помощи глагола «to be» и смыслового глагола с окончанием «ing»:

глагол + ingisare

Правила добавления окончания «ing» к глаголу:

Употребление Present Continuous

Present Continuous также может называться Present Progressive и используется в следующих случаях:

У Present Continuous также есть определенные слова-сигналы, которые помогают догадаться, какое время нужно использовать:

Отрицание в Present Continuous

Для отрицательных предложений вам потребуется уже знакомая частица «not», а чтобы задать вопрос нужно поменять форму глагола «to be» и подлежащее местами. Короткий ответ строится только при помощи глагола «to be»:

Закончились такие нехитрые, а теперь начинаются уже серьезные.

Давайте так, я вам сейчас назову грамматику, а вы дома еще раз ее посмотрите.

«Her room looked beautiful, there (to be) many flow­ers in it – Ее комната выглядела прекрасно, там было множество цветов»: «…, there was…». Past Indefinite

«When I (to come) in, somebody (to play) the piano, two or three pairs (to dance) – Когда я пришел кто-то игра на пианино, две или три пары танцевали»: «When I came in, somebody was playing the piano, … were dancing.».

«- I (to have) supper – Я ужинал»: «I was having supper».

6. «When I (to come) home yesterday, I (to see) that all my family (to sit) round the table – Когда я пришел вчера домой, я увидел, что вся моя семья сидит вокруг стола»: «When I came…, I saw… were sitting…».

«Father (to read) a letter from my uncle who (to live) in Kiev – Отец читал письмо от моего дяди, который живет в Киеве»: «Father was reading… uncle who lived in Kiev». Хотя по-русски мы говорим «живет», а переведем на английский Past Indefinite’ом, потому что Sequence (согласование времен). Хотя глагол «жить» можно делать и Past Continuous’ом. Наше право – «жить», «учиться», «работать» можно и Past Indefinite’ом и Past Continuous’ом, но нельзя Present’ом никаким, потому что Sequence накладывает свою лапу. По-русски «который живет», он же и сейчас живет, не только вчера жил.

7. «Where you (to be) yesterday? – Где ты был вчера?»: «Where were you yesterday?».

«— I (to be) at home the whole day – Я был дома целый день»: «I was at home…». Несмотря на то, что «весь день – явный Past Continuous», но глагол be говорит, что он ему не интересен. И мы оставляем его в Past Indefinite.

«— Oh, I (to be) in the garden – Я был в саду»: «Oh, I was in…».

«I (to read) your book and (not to hear) the telephone – Я читал твою книгу и не слышал телефон»: «I was reading… and did not hear…». «Слышал» вроде можно тоже рассматривать как процесс, но hear – ментальный глагол и в Past Continuous’е он не работает.

8. «What you (to do) at five o’clock yes­terday? Что ты делал вчера в пять часов?»: «What were you doing. ».

«— I (to be) there, too, but I (not to see) you – Я тоже там был, но тебя не видел»: «I was…. Idid not see you». Хотя он имеет в виду, что он в пять же часов там был, но be и see не работают в Continuous, поэтому оба мы ставим Past Indefinite’ом.

10. «It (to rain) the whole day yesterday – Вчера целый день шел дождь»: «It was raining…».
