As being a real life client who has had multiple attempts on my life, including a time when someone sent a trained llama to assassinate me, I can attest this is incredibly accurate. She captured the terror and screams that came out of my body when in similar situations, like 5th grade when in the lunch room Tommy was firing paperclips at me with a rubberband and I did not know where he was shooting from until he got caught by Mrs. Mosely and principle J. made him do deep pushups of touching his nose to the ground, because that’s what I wanted my enemies to become stronger. After my castration, I joined the Forbidden City Eunuch Legion for a couple of years serving the Imperial concubines and I was also trained as a Ninja Turtle. I consider this scene to be genuine.
As a former bodyguard for Gaius Julius Caesar, got hired around March 14, 44BC. This scene is totally realistic. Wish we had this type of training, back then. But we were trained better tho.

The director portrayed the shock of the attack by slowly removing the soundscape. Spielberg did a similar technique in » Saving Private Ryan » when Hanks hits the beach. It’s very effective. Madden’s accent is lovely! The absence of musical cues was a good decision, too. Astonishingly horrific!

Being a newly retired former bodyguard, sniper, 3 Mechlin chef, and chronic shark tank contestant. I can say with absolute confidence that this show is 100% fiction. There is just no way a man could make it to that roof in 30 seconds. That would take me at least half the movie to get all the way up there. After doing a little shopping and a coffee break of course. 😉
As someone that has been sniped million times in every shooter i played. i can tell you that all the scene was very accurate.

I’m a real life bodyguard and up until today this is still terrifying. But he’s execution of procedures are so accurate. He calmed the client constantly while remaing clear in his thinking patterns. Realistic. But the client shouldn’t have been left alone, in case this was a diversion.
Theirs a fancy range rover with 4 bodyguards.
The client was not alone. You can see the second bodyguard covering from the outside aiming up the building in front of which they stopped
client wasn’t left alone, you can see his coleague take care of her while he enters the building
As someone who’s an ex 007, I can 100% say with confidence that the realism showed here is nothing like others. 100% accurate. Well done.
In fairness this was quite a shock to watch when you didn’t expect it.
But overall this whole series was excellent. They played out all their scenes as plausibly as they could.
I randomly came across this scene and I was immediately hooked, opened Netflix and bingewatched the entire thing in a few hours. One of the best shows I have ever seen and now I’m desperate for more
I’ve never really felt tension from a scene before, but this, this gave me the same fear the bodyguard must be feeling
For those of you who don’t know, the system of law enforcement in GB is structured VERY differently than in the US and those officers (such as the one portrayed) are extremely well trained in the use and application of firearms. If you’re ever in London and someone tells you to get down saying, «armed police», you know shit is hitting the fan. But those folks will sort it out.

As someone who has never been a sniper or bodyguard, I can neither confirm nor deny how authentically this scene was put together. I do have some experience driving cars though, can confirm they do have the ability to go both forward and backward.
Thank you for confirming!
I’m seen enough of these comments man
*Amazing how almost everyone in the comments section is either a CURRENT sniper, former special forces sniper, or bodyguard.*
Ok everyone who’s offended just relax and say “nicker” out loud ten times fast to yourself, it will help you calm down.
KGB over here! I ride with Putin.
@Cory Templar lol you sure.
Geez the lady’s acting makes the whole scene so much more scary, what a talent.
should have added hershey squirts for more immersion. IMHO
@It’s Just Tricia should be yes.
As someone who’s been the queen’s bodyguard for the past 150 years I can confidently say that this scene is incredibly realistic, they’d obviously done their research
Jakjajaja se pasan
@Seletar Roots Her Majesty, please never give away your identity on the internet.
Kind Regards
MI6 James Bond
Being the Queen herself, I can confirm this.
I love that the first like 30 seconds to a minute after the car crashes he sits in his seat completely terrified and THEN his training kicks in, very realistic.
@SplendidBlu When did I get proven wrong?
@ < Broken >so not only did you get proven wrong you’re mad still 🤣stfu
As someone who served 50 years as a Japanese Samurai, I can attest that this is 100 % how things would go down when shit hits the fan.
Thank you for your service
This bodyguard has a very particular set of skills, skills he has acquired over a very long career.
Thank you for your service
As a former legionaire from the ancient roman empire, i can tell you, that this scene is perfect, realistic and excellently portraying a sniper assault.
Anyways, good movie.
Llama attacks are the 8th most common way to die look it up
It’s tue. I was the Llama.
Dude llamas are bad ass, and should never be considered cute and cuddly. It’s just a disguise and that helps make them so lethal: «oh look how cute. » and POW, your dead. I steer clear of any llama. When a see at least one (an obvious diversion), I have a feeling that another is hiding in bush just waiting to get me.
I’m a real bodyguard, I protected the queen, Obama and some big celebrity clients. This scene was really immaculate, only thing missing was the 360 no scope and toxic chat, trust me, I’m a real
Bodyguard.
Thrust me, I’m a real Joe Biden and we need you back in the service.
@KutWrite dude are you high when you write this comment. It’s like reading essay
Playing Call of Duty dose not count as reality lmfao.
I am Obama, thank you for your great service.
As someone who has spent the last 72 years as a mummy in a tomb, I can confirm this is 100% how sniper situations are handled 100% of the time.
@B. SuperB ya well he got a Wikipedia page written about him, so he lives thru there. That woman in the vid. Nobody even heard of her.
Bro, ur client got stabbed and turned to swiss cheese. «We were trained better» my ass.
He’s a bloody good bodyguard but his photography skills are god tier. He puts his phone up for a split second and manages to take a crystal clear photo
Bem found something to nitpick! Good for you Bem
jokes on us it was just an apple ad
DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM I’ll never take a picture that fast you have to be a pro to do that
Not really, he exited the vehicle, assumed there was only one shooter and then left his protectee. He was an awful bodyguard. But yes, incredible photographer.
Would he have screamed. ‘Go run get to the chopper?’
@Adriana C Nachi funny right
@Derek Armentrout 80s okay
Not only was I a body guard and sniper I was also an actor this scene is so accurate
as someone who had my great great great great grandfather in the American Revolution i can attest this is 100% accurate
I was a Sniper in the field for over 400 years and this is an eerily accurate of what would occur, notice the rooftop destination, and elevated perspective.
@SCR sup you wish
As a Former Drill sergeant I once trained a whole platoon of lady bugs. I can easily vouch this scene is accurate
Imagine being that security guard, chilling, just doing his job, then hearing “ARMED POLICE!” and seeing a guy with a gun and realizing shits going down
as someone whos served in the Japanese anti martian mecha force for 27 years i can confirm that this scene does infact reflect real life
As a former sniper for the American navy,I can confidently say that this scene is so realistic and 100 percent on point.
I love the fact that he underplays his role very well…It’s so realistic
