Тренировочные упражнения. Сравнительные конструкции с двойным союзом AS … AS. Отрицательные упражнения. Продвинутый уровень. Advanced.
Прямые переводы — это переводы с родного языка на английский. Начинать надо с очень простых предложений. Переводить можно письменно и устно. Если есть затруднения с устным переводом, тогда надо переводить письменно, руководствуясь алгоритмом перевода.
Итак, давайте переведем следующие сравнительные предложения предложения в отрицательной форме с двойным союзом AS … AS. Есть четыре модели сравнительных конструкций с двойным союзом AS … AS, поэтому отработаем каждую модель по отдельности.
A. Модель первая. Сравнение разных объектов.

Прилагательные обозначают признаки предметов и отвечают на вопрос какой?
A wide road. Широкая дорога.
A tall tree. Высокое дерево.
An interesting book. Интересная книга.
Наречия отвечают на вопрос как?
Не speaks English well. Он говорит по-английски хорошо.
Прилагательные и наречия имеют три формы степеней сравнения:
• положительную (positive degree),
• сравнительную (comparative degree),
• превосходную (superlative degree).
Формы сравнительной и превосходной степеней образуются двумя способами:
Конечная согласная у односложных прилагательных и наречий удваивается.
hot — hotter — the hottest
Способ 2. У прилагательных, состоящих из двух, трех или более слогов и наречий, оканчивающиеся на -1у, сравнительная степень образуется при помощи слова more (less), а превосходная степень — при помощи слова most (least).
2. Некоторые прилагательные и наречия образуют степени сравнения не по правилам. Запомните эти исключения:

Существительное, определяемое прилагательным в превосходной степени, всегда имеет определенный артикль: the largest building.
В предложениях со степенями сравнения прилагательных и наречий используются следующие союзы и способы выражения сравнения:
