What I am trying to ask is clothes of what color the person prefers to wear. Whould it be more natural to ask

Or it would be more natural to ask

what clothes colors do you prefer to wear?

Anyway, what would a native English speaker say?

Of the two suggestions, the one that makes most sense grammatically is:

What colour clothes do you prefer to wear?

This makes perfect sense and would be understood. That isn’t to say it is particularly idiomatic, as I don’t believe there isn’t really any single, common way of asking this.

What is your favourite colour?

This is a very broad question though, not necessarily to do with clothing. Children are more likely to ask this question, as the idea of having one single favourite colour for everything (clothes, home decor, flowers etc) is not held by most adults.

In fact, the reason why the question you are trying to ask is not all that common is probably that few people wear just one colour from head to toe.

It is idiomatic to refer to a single colour as «my colour», meaning that it is a colour which is complementary to one’s looks, skin-tone etc. This would have to be used in context to make sense, for example:

That jacket really suits you. Green is definitely your colour.

So, in context (ie you are already speaking about clothes) you could ask:

Fashion is something we deal with every day. Even people who say they don’t care what to wear choose clothes every morning that say a lot about them and how they feel that day.
The way we dress has an impact on how we are viewed upon or categorized in society. Whether we are at work, school or simply walking in the park, we are judged just because of our clothing. The fact of the matter is clothing plays a key role in how we live our lives in many ways and in how we will be portrayed or even treated.
As for me I don’t pay too much attention to the latest fashion. I prefer clothes which are comfortable for everyday life.
And in general: do not follow the fashion, create your own style.
2. Do you follow the latest fashion trends? Why (not)?
No, I don’t want to look the same as thousands of people. Different clothes are made to show that we are not similar to others. For me it is much more important to like my clothes, and to feel comfortable wearing it.

What can you tell us about your new collection?
Do you wear the clothes that have been created by you?
What colour is in fashion this season?
When did you create your first collection?
Do you like your job?

Go to a clothing store and buy something nice, but that is not like the one that you have had before. Or ask your friend to help you change your style. I think he will tell you what is better to buy. The main thing is that you like your new image.

To begin with I’d like to point out that fashion makes our life colorful. You can express your personality through fashion. The cleaner, nicer and more fashionable you look, the more you are likely to become popular. Some people are not interested in fashion, but a lot of teenagers follow fashion because they want to fit in and they like to show themselves off in public. And some people look funny trying to be fashionable. As for me I don’t always follow the latest fashion because if I follow it I will be wearing the same clothes that many other people are wearing. I prefer to look unique. When I am sure my clothes suit me and I look good I feel confident.

As for me, it is always important to remember that there are different styles of clothes for different types of events. Of course, I want to keep up to date and feel comfortable. I try to combine both comfort and fashion. At the same time I like to experiment with my style and remain true to myself. My favourite clothes are jeans, T-shorts and sweaters or jackets. They are comfortable and I can wear them in any weather.

Where is a clothes department for boys?

Before any kind of shopping you have to plan everything carefully. It means you should decide what you need first of all then you should know how much money you can afford. The next step will be going through some shops so as to find out the types of clothes. Take your time, don’t buy on impulse. Always try on clothes before buying them to see if they fit. Think more about everything and make your choice.

It is not surprising that young people pay a lot of attention to their style. I think looking stylish and attractive helps young people stand out of the crowd and feel more confident. As for your style, it should be unique and reveals your personality.

Many people nowadays are crazy about fashion. They can spend a lot of money on new clothes every week to look modern and be popular. As for me, I think, that these people are really crazy. It is beside the purpose. I wear things, that I like, and don’t look at others’ taste. I can buy clothes once a half-year and they are not belong to a special style.

Of course no. I hate people, who are obsessed with fashion. I like my old clothes and like to buy new ones, but that does not mean that I follow fashion trends. I just like my suits.

What are the latest fashion trends?

I hate all talks about clothes, so I think, my advice will not help you. Try to ask your friend, whose style you like about things, that he wears. Also, some TV programms about fashion and sellers in clothes shop will help you too.

It is very important for children to be popular in their small group. So such a simple thing as style can really help them stand out from theirs friends.

I am a practical person so casual clothes are what I wear most often. Showing off by wearing expensive clothes which don’t usually last long is not sensible. If you want to attract people’s attention, you had better be well-bred.

I don’t follow the latest fashion trends. I don’t see any reasons for copying anyone else’s style. Different clothes are made to show that we are not similar to others. I wear clothes that I like and I don’t intend to dress in anything in order to fit the fashion.

As for me, it is always important to remember the rules of politeness, that there are different styles of clothes for different types of events. From my point of view, things that you have in your wardrobe should be comfortable to wear. It is better to remain true to yourself. As one wise well-known proverb says, “People meet by clothes and set off by mind”.
My favourite clothes are jeans, shirts and sweaters or jackets. They are comfortable and I can wear them in any weather.
