I would like to start with the idea that almost every modern teenager has a gadget with the Internet access. Internet has become widespread all over the world. And the majority of people daily use it. Speaking about the teenagers, I think that they use the Internet too much. One of the main reason of why this is happening is because they can safely socialize with each other using social networks. No doubt that opportunities which the internet provides are enormous. Two persons who are situated in the opposite parts of the world can easily communicate with each other. All they need is a computer program and an access to the Internet. But there are some dangers as well. For example, some teenagers get addicted to the internet. Also kids spend all free time there. In summary, I can say that children should be limited from the excessive use of the Internet.

The Internet today is almost all teenagers’ life. Social life of a modern teenager is in the Internet: they make new friends and communicate here. It also helps them to study: it’s impossible to prepare a project for school without it, some schoolchildren even have extra classes with their teachers online. The Internet is the best entertainment today: we can play games, listen to music and watch films.

Of course the Internet helps us to be in touch with people who live far away. We can write letters by e-mail, and our friends get them almost immediately. There are even programs like Skype which gives us a chance to see a person while we are talking. It’s also not expensive.

There are some dangers which teenagers can face. Firstly, there are examples of addiction when people couldn’t live a day without the Internet. Secondly, some harmful programs from the Internet can damage our computers.

My attitude to the Internet is very positive. I can’t imagine even a day of my life without it anymore.

I think that’s all that I wanted to tell you about the Internet.

Now I would like to give a talk about the Internet.

Actually, the Internet is very important and helpful nowadays because it is used everywhere and people of different professions need it. The Internet is also popular among teenagers because it is used for entertainment and communication. We can chat on line, play games, exchange photos and watch films. A lot of teenagers use different websites such as : Facebook, Skype, Vkontakte, Odnoklassniki and others to contact with their relatives and friends.

Of course, the Internet makes long- distance communication easier. We use different websites to keep in touch with our friends and teachers. Moreover, nowadays every school has got an electronic journal, which helps to get ready for the lessons. Sometimes we send our written tasks to the teachers via electronic journal, because it is very convenient and quick.

But we have to be careful with the Internet because it can be dangerous. The Internet may affect ( отрицательно влиять ) the health and studies, if we spend too much time online. In this case we forget about our real world: about duties at home, about school and about our active way of life. What is more, there is much useless and even harmful information there.

I would like to tell you a few words about the Internet.

Nowadays teenagers use the Internet because it is the largest source of information. There are millions of Internet sites storing plenty of useful data about everything: science, history, psychology, sports, fashion, music, cooking and many other subjects. We can also download our favourite movies or songs, listen to radio channels or play games. Learning or practising foreign languages is possible with the Internet too.

Also the Internet makes long-distance communication easier? Because you can speak with your friend on-line and you don’t have to write letters and wait for the replies. The Internet helps shy people or those with low-esteem to find each other on dating sites. On-line chatting through social networking websites is more comfortable for Internet users with the lack of social skills.

I am sure that the Internet has changed our life for the better. There is only one disadvantage about it: some people become rather addicted to it and spend all days long surfing the net, on-line dating or playing games. Over-using the net can be dangerous because new technology victims start neglecting their families, friends, work and real hobbies.
