My favorite day of the week is Saturday. First of all, it is a weekend and I have an opportunity to sleep longer. After the working week, I feel really exhausted and Saturday is a day when I can relax. The further reason to love Saturday is the fact that my mother cooks pancakes for the breakfast. This is my favorite dish. Unfortunately, during the working week, I do not have enough time to eat properly because I have to hurry up so as not to be late for school.

After the breakfast, my parents and I normally go somewhere. Very often we go for a walk in the park not far from our home. In summer I can ride a bike there or do roller skating. In winter we normally go skiing there. From time to time I go to the cinema or visit different museums either with my family or with my friends. I tend to do my homework and on Sundays, that`s why on Saturday I have enough spare time not only to spend it with my family but also to meet with my friends. Moreover, on Saturdays, I tend to visit my grandparents and have a dinner with them. My granny cooks very deliciously. After dinner, I play chess with my grandfather. Sometimes we play some desktop games together.

Sunday through Saturday is my favorite day of the week. We live in an extremely violent and uncaring world, something that we see, hear, and read about on a daily basis. A world that continually overshadows the good and warm-hearted deeds performed around the world daily. Living in such an experience, brings even more truth to the saying «tomorrow is not promised to any of us.» So each and every day that I awake and make it through that day, be it a good or bad day will always be my favorite day because I lived to see another day!

Ofcourse Monday. After the two days holidays, I usually feel very tired without doing any thing in an active manner. Mondays usually give me a special kind of energy that makes me begin my work all done in a better way.

My favourite day is definitely Thursday, as I finish work at midday. I then pick up my children from school which I love! Then I’ve only got Friday to work (which is always a feel good day anyway) before the weekend, and as I don’t ever work on Saturday and Sunday it’s great!

My favorite day is Friday because it’s the best day for Muslims to pray and request the Allah to forgive them.

Seriously though, Wednesday evenings for those promo movie tickets during the hump day They are cheaper by RM3-5 than usual days. Usual ticket prices are around RM12-14.

I like Saturday better than any other day. No offense to the other days.. I just like taking long walks under the starry sky without worrying about tomorrow. With some soft music going on it becomes my best day of the week.

Friday well being brought up in Islamic states I used to start my weekend as early as Friday, and when working in a week, i close my target on that day.

EVERY DAY is my favorite day of the week!

My favourite day is Friday because:

1. In India, Friday is the day of women for worshipping goddesses Lakshmi(Goddess of wealth and prosperity), Saraswati(Goddess of studies and all knowledge) and Parvathi(Goddess of power and Shakti, energy). Every female goddess is worshipped on Friday and women are the embodiment of the goddess. Women dress up in traditional attires of silk saris, Punjabi suits and lehengas and ornaments.

2. It is the day to party. Friday night and after that, we have two days week offs and the idea that I can have two days offs makes me happy and I can enjoy my weekends leisurely.

3. It is the day to make fried dishes; «FryDay». To plan a simple party, movie night, girls outing, planning weekend date etc.

Saturday, because my mind and body relax.

Model Answer:
Deciding on the favourite day of the week is not an easy task, especially, when you are always busy with one thing or another. But, I will still go ahead and try my best to talk about a particular day which I would consider as my favourite.

Now, I am not sure many people would agree with me, but I consider “Friday” as my favourite day. For the most part, Friday is like any other weekdays to me because, on this day also, I wake up early in the morning as usual and then take a little morning walk outside before coming back to home and then taking a shower. After the shower, I take a light breakfast as I don’t really like to feel too much full in my stomach and sleepy before starting the workday.

By the way, I live a bit too far away from my work, so I have to wake up really early in order to beat the morning rush and traffics on the roads. After arriving at the office, I head straight to my own desk and start preparing the tasks list for the day after talking to my senior manager and other fellow workers, if needed. The work continues for about 5 long hours and stops at around 1:00 pm for a lunch break. After finishing lunch, I go back to work again and finish it at around 5:00 pm. Then, I hop into a bus and go straight to my home. Anyway, while this day may seem like any other day, Friday’s are a bit different for me because I feel more energized with an anticipation of a great weekend ahead.

Friday is my favourite day of the week, primarily because I feel more energized and productive on this day by managing to finish my work rather quickly. Besides, this is the day when I get to prepare for a happy weekend without worrying about what might have gone wrong in other days of the week. After all, preparing for a great weekend is actually more fun to me than the actual acts of a weekend.

My name is Daniel y and I’m fourteen years old. I’d like to tell you a few words about my favourite day of the week. It is Saturday, of course, because on this day my weekend starts. We have a six-day school week, so on Saturday morning I still study. However, starting from the afternoon I’m free till Monday.

My friend has once asked me why I like Saturday more than Sunday and I exactly knew the answer. First of all, on Saturday I don’t have to worry about going to bed late. On week days, my parents tell me that I should go to bed early not to be late for school next morning. Even on Sunday they don’t allow me to stay longer than 11 pm, because I have to wake up early on Monday morning. That’s why I like Saturdays more. We don’t usually have many classes on this day, only a few. After that, I meet up with my friends and we go to the local sports ground. Depending on weather, we can play tennis, volleyball or other outdoor games there. If we are in the mood for pizza or sushi, we go to the nearest cafe. In the evening I’m allowed to invite my friends over for a movie or a computer game. Sometimes we play interesting board games.

When my friends leave, I can still do whatever I like, for example, play with my hamster, read a book or help my mum to cook something delicious. The main thing is that I can stay up as long as I wish. Sundays are also fun. Sometimes we visit our relatives on this day and I get to play with my cousins. In the evening I have to do my homework and get ready for the school week. By the way, I like weekends even more when they are tied up with special occasions or holidays.

If you ask any pupil what is his favorite day of the week, some of them will tell you it’s Saturday and someone will choose Sunday. And only few pupils will answer that it’s Friday. My favorite day is Friday for few reasons.

First of all on Friday at school I have 6 lessons and all of them are easy for me. They are Maths, Russian, English, PE, history and science. Usually I do homework during the week, so I am always ready to have good marks on Friday.

Another reason is that it’s the last day at school and I don’t have to run back home. I can walk in the park with my classmates, have some tea or lunch with them or we just go to cafe. As you can see it’s a very easy and relaxing day for me.

Because it’s the last day at school and let’s imagine I have just finished it, I still have Saturday and Sunday. So I can plan my weekend with my family and friends. I never stay at home and I prefer to have some excursion or visit somebody. Believe me I work hard during the week, so I really deserve to rest these two days.

Also on Friday we usually have dinner all together. We invite some relatives or even friends, we discuss some plans or problems and just enjoy that time together. I help my mom to cook dinner and I go to buy a dessert, so as you understand, our dinner is full and delicious.

If I don’t feel really tired I do my homework for the next week, so I can have weekend only for me and my hobbies. If I don’t feel well I just read my favorite book or watch a movie. Friday gives me a possibility to choose what I want to do.

Some of my friends don’t understand why I love Friday. We still have to go to school. But Friday is the day when you focus your energy and power, do your best, get good marks and you can meet weekend with bigger pleasure. After this explanation many of my friends have changed their mind and now they also like Friday.

Если вы спросите любого школьника, какой у него любимый день недели, кто-то скажет, что любит субботу, а кто-то — воскресение. И только несколько ребят признаются, что их любимый день — пятница. Я люблю именно пятницу по нескольким причинам.

Во-первых, в пятницу у меня в школе всего 6 уроков и все они лёгкие. Это математика, русский язык, английский язык, физкультура, история и физика. Обычно я делаю домашние задания на пятницу уже в течение недели, поэтому, я всегда получаю хорошие отметки.

А ещё одна причина заключается в том, что это последний день недели и после школы мне не нужно бежать домой. Я могу прогуляться в парке с одноклассниками, выпить чаю или пообедать с ними или просто посидеть в кафе. Как видите, это достаточно лёгкий день для меня.

А так как это последний школьный день, только представьте, что уроки закончились, а впереди суббота и воскресение. Я могу спланировать свои выходные и провести их с семьёй или друзьями. Я никогда не сижу дома и предпочитаю пойти на экскурсию или навестить кого-то. Поверьте, в течение недели я работаю усердно, так что я заслуживаю отдых.

А ещё в пятницу мы ужинаем все вместе. Мы приглашаем родственников и даже друзей, обсуждаем наши планы и проблемы и просто наслаждаемся компанией. Я помогаю маме приготовить ужин и иду в магазин за десертом. Наш ужин плотный и очень вкусный.

Если я не очень устаю, то делаю ДЗ на следующую неделю именно в пятницу. Тогда мои выходные — только для меня и моего хобби. А если мне нездоровится, я читаю любимую книгу или смотрю фильм. Пятница даёт мне возможность делать то, что мне хочется.

Некоторые мои друзья не понимают, почему я люблю пятницу. Нам же нужно идти в школу в этот день. Но именно в пятницу вы фокусируете всю энергию и силу, стараетесь изо всех сил, чтобы получить высокие отметки и провести уикенд в своё удовольствие. После такого объяснения их мнение поменялось, и они тоже полюбили пятницу.

Суббота

Если спросить у ваших знакомых, какой день недели они любят больше всего, то большинство наверняка ответят, что суббота и они правы. Суббота – это такой день, когда все дома, есть возможность выспаться и никуда не надо спешить, зная, что впереди ещё есть один выходной. Взрослые в этот день отдыхают от работы, а детвора от школы.

Утром просыпаешься не от звонка будильника, а от того, что выспался от всей души и приятное состояние этого момента, когда дозволительно ещё поваляться в кровати. День кажется бесконечным и можно выполнить все запланированные дела. Или наоборот посвятить это время приятному отдыху. Вариантов здесь много: можно выбраться с семьёй на природу, посмотреть интересный фильм, послушать любимую музыку или прочесть книгу. По телевизору в выходные дни показывают интересные передачи.

Детям по субботам можно допоздна гулять на улице, потому, что впереди будет опять выходной день. Не надо спешить делать уроки и у всех ребят хорошее настроение по этому поводу, и родители тоже часто делают поблажку в этот день. А вечером собравшись вместе всей семьёй за ужином хорошо обсудить планы на воскресенье, рассказать о том, как провели день, а потом позволительно задержаться за просмотром телевизора, назавтра можно отоспаться.

А ещё бывает, по субботам всей семьёй отравляемся в кинотеатр, где идёт показ интересных фильмов. Всем членам семьи очень нравится смотреть фильмы в кинотеатре, ведь ощущения от просмотра совсем другие, чем посмотреть это же кино по телевизору. А после кинотеатра обязательно заглядываем в кафе или пиццерию и заказываем что-нибудь вкусное.

Вот этим всем и хороша суббота. Всю неделю все ждут, когда наступит этот маленький праздник. Вся семья, и взрослые, и дети, ожидают с нетерпением данный день, предвкушая и строя планы, как проведут его в этот раз. А после выходных, набравшись впечатлений, в понедельник уже рассказывать друзьям и знакомым, как замечательно отдохнули в этот день. Впереди целая неделя, но как хорошо знать, что опять скоро наступит такой замечательный день как суббота.

A year has four seasons: spring, summer, autumn and winter. I like summer. In summer the weather is hot and sunny.

Every season has three months. Spring has March, April and May. Summer has June, July and August. Autumn has September, October and November. Winter has December, January and February.

The first month of the year is January. The last month of the year is December. I like December, July and April. In December we have New Year. In July we can swim and sunbathe. And in April I have my birthday.

Every month has four weeks. And every week has seven days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. My favourite day is Saturday. I don’t have lessons and I can relax on Saturday.

My name is Andrew, I am fourteen years old. I would like to tell you about my day off.

Sunday is my favorite day of the week, because it is not necessary to get up early and go to school.

On Sunday I get up later than usually, make my bed, go to the bathroom, wash my face and clean my teeth. Then we have breakfast all together. On Sunday my mother usually bakes pancakes, they are very delicious. We drink tea or coffee and eat pancakes with jam. After breakfast I help my mother to clear the table and wash the dishes.

Then I go outside to play with my friends. In winter we go skiing. In summer my father and I go to the swimming pool, especially when it is very hot.

At one o’clock we have dinner.

After dinner we have a short rest. My father goes to his study and reads newspapers. My mother watches TV, my younger sister sleeps. I usually go to my room, read a book, listen to music or do my homework for the next week.

In the evening we go to the park all together. It’s very big and beautiful. There are a lot of different park amusements there. My sister and I like to go on the rides very much or just go for a walk with our parents. Our mother and father often buy us candy floss or popcorn. Then we go to a café and order the biggest pizza. We eat, talk and laugh.

We come home at ten o’clock in the evening, satisfied, tired and very happy that we have had such a wonderful day off.

После обеда мы немного отдыхаем. Папа идет к себе в кабинет и читает газеты. Мама смотрит телевизор, моя младшая сестренка спит. Я обычно иду в свою комнату, читаю книгу, слушаю музыку или делаю домашнюю работу на следующую неделю.

Вечером мы все вместе идем гулять в парк. Он очень большой и красивый. Там много разных аттракционов. Мы с сестрой очень любим кататься на них или просто гулять с нашими родителями. Мама и папа часто покупают нам сладкую вату или попкорн. Потом мы заходим в кафе и заказываем самую большую пиццу. Мы кушаем, разговариваем, смеемся.

Домой мы приходим в 10 часов вечера, довольные, уставшие и очень счастливые от того, что провели такой чудесный выходной.
