This ambitious new Netflix Original title is based on Neil Gaiman’s 1989–1996 DC comic book of the same name. The Sandman is a fantasy drama series that revolves around Morpheus (Tom Sturridge), the king of dreams, who has finally escaped after being captured in 1916 and held captive for the subsequent 105 years. Now that he’s free, Morpheus is determined to restore order to the kingdom he once ruled, also known as The Dreaming. Still wondering what Netflix content is on the horizon? Here are two buzz-worthy titles to look forward to watching on Netflix in September 2022:
Cobra Kai: Season 5 (Released September 9) *Netflix Series
Grab your gi and start practicing your crane kick because Cobrai Kai is back and better than ever with its fifth season hitting Netflix in early September. The martial arts comedy-drama series has plenty of butt kicking excitement in store, as these new episodes pick up where the shocking Season 4 finale left off, as the diabolical Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith) expands the Cobra Kai karate empire in attempts to take over the Valley’s martial arts scene once and for all after putting John Kreese (Martin Kove) behind bars and taking down Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) and Daniel LaRusso’s (Ralph Macchio) teams at the tournament. On top of all that, Johnny is taking a step back from karate competitions in order to focus on repairing the damage he’s caused (including his fraught relationship with his son) and Daniel is driven into a corner as he tries to build back his dojo from the ground up, inspiring him to call up an old friend for assistance. There’s a lot to look forward to, so be sure to check it all out in Cobra Kai: Season 5 on Netflix next month.

One of the most talked about films of the year is making its debut on Netflix next month, and everyone is a-buzzing. Adapted from Joyce Carol Oates’ 2000 novel of the same name, Blonde is a historical psychological drama film that offers a fictionalized chronicle of the inner life of 1950s and 1960s icon Marilyn Monroe (Ana de Armas).
