LyricsWhat’s Wrong
half•alive
(The time′s always right to fix what’s wrong) Time is always right in past tense
Avoiding is my newest obsession Started with the right intentions But left ′em on the shelf So tell me how to live in tension ‘Cause every «Could’ve-been» kills when Living here has been hell And I can′t hold it myself The whisper in my heart, it could never speak up The message in my chest gathered too much dust I can′t afford the truth even if it’s unjust Keep it top-shelf, keep it all locked up So yippee-ki-yay, it′s not my blood but Every single day it calls my bluff It’s not okay then it ain′t quite done Then it ain’t quite done, no The time′s always right to fix what’s wrong The time’s always right to fix what′s wrong Looking through a haze, I′m basing Everything around me on traces The criminal I’ve been chasing Is wearing my shoes Nah, the whisper in my heart, it could never speak up The message in my chest gathered too much dust I can′t afford the truth even if it’s unjust Keep it top-shelf, keep it all locked up So yippee-ki-yay, it′s not my blood but Every single day it calls my bluff It’s not okay then it ain′t quite done Then it ain’t quite done, no Oh, my God, it ain’t quite why Hold on, it ain′t quite love Hold on, it ain′t quite done No, oh my God, it ain’t quite why Hold on, it ain′t quite love Hold on, it ain’t quite done The time′s always right to fix what’s wrong (ooh) The time′s always right to fix what’s wrong (what’s wrong, what′s wrong) The time′s always right to fix what’s wrong The time′s always right to fix what’s wrong The time′s always right to fix what’s wrong

[The door panel closes, and momentarily slides back open to reveal Barney.]
Barney: Gordon? Alyx? I don’t believe it! [opens the door to let the two in] How the hell’d you get out of the Citadel? Alyx: We’re. not exactly sure. All we know is that the Vortigaunts had something to do with it. [now serious] But what about you, Barney? Barney: Well, I’m doin’ okay, just going crazy tryin’ to —– Female Rebel: They’ve found us!
[A Scanner is seen floating just outside one of the windows. One of the rebels destroys it with a shotgun blast.]
Barney: [to Gordon] Aw, hell, Gordon! Were you followed again?! Alyx: We stole some information from the Citadel on our way out. I don’t know what it is yet, but it’s important enough that they’ve been hounding us the whole way here. Barney: Well, that puts the pressure on – look, we gotta get moving!
«Everything Machine» lyrics
half•alive Lyrics
I’m what you wanted, it’s in your eyes
I’m picture perfect, I’m always right, oh
I’m only vapor, it’s only lies
We could be forest fires, we could be forest fires
I’m patient when you’re in pain
I can keep you close when it’s getting late
I can stay there when you need it most
Make you feel at home ’til the pain is numb
What is wrong?
I could be your world, every single dream
I’ll be your everything machine
You know, you know
That when your faith is gone, got me to believe in
When people let you down, I’m here, you know
Everything, everything, everything
(I’ll be your)
Everything, everything, everything
(I’ll be your)
Everything, everything
I’m your second nature, never leave your side
I’m a growing cancer (your ceiling on sleepless nights)
I’m your serotonin, I’m your burning eyes
Baby, don’t you cry, I’m right here tonight
I’m patient when you’re in pain
I can keep you close when it’s getting late
I can stay
I could be your world, every single dream
I’ll be your everything machine
You know, you know
That when your faith is gone, got me to believe in
When people let you down, I’m here, you know
Everything, everything, everything
(I’ll be your)
Everything, everything, everything
(I’ll be your)
Everything, everything
(I’ll be your)
I’m patient when you’re in pain
I can keep you close when it’s getting late
I can stay there when you need it most
Make you feel at home ’til the pain is numb
I’m patient when you’re in pain
I can keep you close when it’s getting late
I can stay there when you need it most
Make you feel at home ’til the pain is numb
What is wrong?
I could be your world, every single dream
I’ll be your everything machine
You know, you know
That when your faith is gone, got me to believe in
When people let you down, I’m here, you know
I could be your world, every single dream
I’ll be your everything machine
You know, you know
That when your faith is gone, got me to believe in
When people let you down, I’m here, you know
Everything, everything, everything
(I’ll be your)
Everything, everything, everything
(I’ll be your)

Half-Life: Decay [ edit ]
The following is a list of HECU grunts quotes that are original to the Decay expansion. The game also features the majority of quotes listed in the Half-Life section.
When they spot the players, Gina Cross and Colette Green:
What’s Wrong
Time’s always right to fix what’s wrong
Time is always right in past tense
Avoiding is my newest obsession
Started with the right intentions
But left ‘em on the shelf
So tell me how to live in tension
‘Cause every could’ve been kills when
Living here has been hell
And I can’t hold it myself
Mm-ma
The whisper in my heart, it could never speak up
The message in my chest gathered too much dust
I can’t afford the truth even if it’s unjust
Keep it top-shelf, keep it all locked up
So yippee ki-yay, it’s not my blood
But every single day it calls my bluff
It’s not ok, then it ain’t quite done
Then it ain’t quite done
No
Time’s always right to fix what’s wrong
Time’s always right to fix what’s wrong
Looking through a haze, I’m basing
Everything around me on traces
The criminal I’ve been chasing
Is wearing my shoes
Nah
The whisper in my heart, it could never speak up
The message in my chest gathered too much dust
I can’t afford the truth even if it’s unjust
Keep it top-shelf, keep it all locked up
So yippee ki-yay, it’s not my blood
But every single day it calls my bluff
It’s not ok then, it ain’t quite done
Then it ain’t quite done
No
Oh, my God, it ain’t quite why
Hold on, it ain’t quite love
Hold on, it ain’t quite done
No
Oh, my God, it ain’t quite why
Hold on, it ain’t quite love
Hold on, it ain’t quite done (it ain’t quite done)
Time’s always right to fix what’s wrong (ooh)
Time’s always right to fix what’s wrong (what’s wrong, what’s wrong)
Time’s always right to fix what’s wrong (time is right to fix what’s wrong, what’s wrong)
Time’s always right to fix what’s wrong
Time’s always right to fix what’s wrong (time is right)
