It was a cute read! It had its serious moments and its fluffy moments. Everything went pretty smoothly, and the ending was cute.

I’m glad there weren’t any super dubious moments between the main pairing though.

At most, there was a stolen kiss and some strong flirting. Two side characters though. a forceful kiss and some fighting. :/ We’ll see how they do in a sequel or something.

My feelings were from «I want to give it to Ming» to «ahhh my kids are so precious (Ji and Ming) «.

This novel is really good, I laugh until the air is short.

Waiting for hot scenes

In short, I recommend it. A realistic plot wherein everyone can empathize is a good read.

This novel has two couple story. main CP and side CP, well, there are other small side CP too. There’s no major plot or anything, just romance/love between CPs with some typical drama and angsty.

The main couple story is sweet with lots of dog food. I very much liked ML as a lover. Even though he’s overbearing character, when it comes to our MC he turn into puppy hubby although still overbearing sometimes. I love the way he care about MC. I actually didn’t expected him to be like that

I am so into seme’s that dotes their uke’s and care properly. I love it when he asked whether he can pursue MC or not. It’s a small thing but it still made me happy. Plus he was very patience, controlling his urge and not sleep with MC until everything was fully cleared with MC.

For me He was the best seme/ML compare to all other pair ML/Seme. He knows how to treat other properly and pursue.

But as a Friend, I am kinda very disappointed on him

I totally didn’t expect him to not help Lin Jiang. Lin Jiang was his friend right? So him not helping Lin Jiang despite him knowing LJ situation is very disappointing. I know the only one he care about is our MC but really no matter how much crazy one is about his lover how can you not give a look when your friend was going through hardship.

I know ML didn’t want to interfere in the side couple relationship but that doesn’t mean that you should not help your friend during his hard time. Both GMR and LJ are his friend but from what I saw he’s more supportive towards GMR. probably because he’s gay too. He even helped GMR. And I know it GMR who said he’ll handle everything regarding LJ situation but as his friend don’t you atleast check his situation ad see if he’s ok. Like LJ really respect and care about ML but ML. you are such a. even the people who always place their lover before friend atleast knows to help their friend or even underling through hard time and you. knowing GMR and LJ character you should atleast check if everything was going ok even if you don’t plain to interfere between them. I just feel very sad for LJ in this case, though everything turned out good at the end but still seeing LJ go through that and ML just disappear forever making him feel he has no one to help him except GMR and to sell himself to GMR is just sad and frustrating.

I am kinda happy that our MC was like Mob chara. I was kinda tired with all too beautiful MCs in every novel. This was kinda fresh. Through at first I didn’t liked him much

He didn’t directly rejected ML giving him hope and then the thing that happened during playing number game. Knowing ML feeling but still acted like that it really hurt very much. I don’t like people like that, not being able to make decision and end up hurting people

But slowly he became likeable

I love it when he didn’t broke up with ML because of his dad incident. I honestly don’t know what’s the right choice regarding this kind of situation but I prefer if lover don’t break up because of this shit. It was good that MC waited for ML and asked him the situation properly. He even said him to give him some time to think. If it ain’t true love than what??

I love their relationship with ML shifting from overbearing to puppy to hungry wolf. The family drama were ok. The thing what I anticipated didn’t happened thankfully (MC breaking up with ML). The thing I didn’t like about Main CP story is that how things just settled just for the sake of Happy ending.

yeah, I don’t like how things just got settled like that. I don’t have much problem with other but ML mother. f*ck, She should apologies to MC. It was because of her that MC father died but she didn’t felt remorse or regret or guilt till the end and even call MC vixen until the things just settled down because the ML’s sister-in-law got pregnant. How can you just end it like that. Although she didn’t kill MC dad directly with her own hand, it was because of her instruction that led MC dad die and now that MC is his son lover, how can she not feel any guilt and instead let her son bear the guilt and take blame?? Just because she’s rich doesn’t give her any right to not feel any guilt after indirectly killing someone. But the way author forgot about that sh*t and let her suddenly became a caring mother full of love. it just make me laugh ironically and be very disappoint with author.

There’s also story about ML brother and His story is the typical my husband is an overbearing President kinda story. It was short and rushed but I kinda liked it. I guess.

Then the 2nd/side couple. Their story is love-hate toxic relationship that change into happy one, where, the uke as straight as steel get bend after sleeping with the seme (LOL). It gives the typical yaoi manga feel.

I didn’t like how their relationship started and the progress too. It was sudden for me and I am not a fig fan of that. it wasn’t until everything settled I started liking their relationship a bit more. Their relationship have more ups and down and spicy compare to the main couple so some of you might really enjoy it.

There were so many times I just wanted to hit GMR (seme) and shout THAT’S NOT HOW ONE SHOULD TREAT THE PERSON THEY LIKE. Although I feel his love for LJ and feel sad for him but that sympathy quickly get taken away with his rough action.

First of all you don’t call someone you love Son of a bit*h (i can never get it). really, how could he think he was treating LJ good before. Well, he indeed helped him later on when LJ was having hard time but he also cut all his connection. like HCM. He even registered him into university in archeology department like as if LJ like that course. bit*h please, you should have let him make his own choice.

Thankfully he wasn’t bad enough to r*pe LJ and It was LJ who took the initive to have physical contact.

I honestly would have love it if GMR approach was kinda like ML. He should learn from ML how to pursue one properly. I don’t know why he’s like that with his parents being so loving couple. didn’t he saw his father behavior towards his mother. How did he end up starting his relationship like that (¯―¯٥)

My feeling for LJ goes up and down. I am usually very much into this kind of uke. The dumb but strong personality guy. I liked it when he boldly admitted his feeling.

Though their relationship still have some problem, I loved him even more when he stood up for GMR, declaring him as his man to the rival girl and That was very bold and pretty impressive. And when he told GMR not to think he’s useless just because he isn’t able to do anything like ML, it just made their relationship so precious but then the drama happened with the entry of the Rival girl

the girl lied forcing LJ to break up and LJ decided to do it. like bro I didn’t expected that from you, to be like the shoujo manga/kdrama girl.

At first I thought he wanted break up because of both his parents and GMR parents situation. feeling guilty for GMR parents but then no it was all because of His parents things that the girl lied about. If not why would he want to reconcile as soon as he learn the girl lied. Sure, human are selfish. He didn’t trusted GMR and try to broke up with him but want to be with GMR again after learning truth. tch poor guy GMR.

I was hoping LJ to be more like MC in this situation, try to talk with GMR properly. It was just his parents being framed or not or did he did all this to manipulate him to fall in love. it’s not as heavy as being responsible for someone dad death. But no LJ came to his own conclusion (since GMR didn’t say anything) and tried to break up with him. so typical shoujo manga/ kdrama vibe. He didn’t loved GMR enough to trust him. that sad. and pretty disappointing. Maybe this was the realistic reaction for others but not me. I didn’t wanted to see that. I don’t like break up. especially break up like that with a reason like that.

Well, I can see this was the stepping stone to strengthen their trust issue in relationship but I still didn’t like the break up.

I personally loved GMR mom. She was such a good mother. She was even willing to bear the pain for his son sake 👏👏👏 such a good mother in this toxic society novel.

I liked how the 2nd couple relationship sailed later on (after all those above shit). It was good. especially the period later on. It was pretty realistic.

I kinda like it when GMR parents found out and GMR was unable to do anything like ML did. It was pretty realistic situation and I like that. It also that moment when LJ told him it was ok and he should think himself useless. It was probably this moment when I found their relationship precious.

And later on GMR went to study outside and they kept their relationship hidden from the society and it took damn 10 years to make the whole world acknowledge LJ as his partner. it just so beautiful and realistic. I love how how it took such along time and the ending was so fruitful with the wedding.

Despite all the sh*t happened before, I have to say this couple had such a good ending. way better than main couple.

with that beautiful wedding how can they not. it all because of that damn wedding. I wanted to see main couple wedding. I wish they had given us that.

Also the small side couple in this side couple story. well, there’s Nothing much about them. They only had one chapter for themselves only. If I have to say anything it’ll that it’s yet another overbearing seme.

The author addiction toward overbearing seme are well. too much. Everyone freaking single one of them is overbearing. well, except for the ML since he’s not that overbearing with his MC. well, sometimes he’s but majority time no. He treat MC very well.

Also it’s probably me but I feel that author is not good with time lapping making things look kinda rushed.

Overall, it was good. I Love the intimacy scenes. It was hot. Sad that despite being yaoi tag no smut. I love the main couple relationship, while I like the side couple family, development and ending.
