According to the diagram, the residents of Zetland are well acquainted with the music by Ludwig van Beethoven because 36% of them can easily recognize Fur Elise and 30% can identify Ode to Joy. It can also be seen that very few people know Flight of the Bumblebee by Rimsky-Korsakov and Clair de Lune by DeBussy with 4% and 2% of the respondents respectively.

The data analysis reveals that Wedding March by Mendelson, recognized by 28% of the surveyed, is only by 2% less famous than Ode to Joy by Beethoven. However, it is surprising that Clair de Lune by DeBussy is the least recognizable piece of music.

Although classical music has been time-tested, it is not favoured by teenagers and hence their emotional intellect does not develop properly. This definitely seems to be a problem. This could really encourage younger people to start liking listening to it.

Nowadays social networking is an inseparable part of the contemporary world. I am working on a project on what teenagers in Zetland use social networks for. I have found some data on the given topic in the bar chart, which delineates the ratio of the most popular reasons why young people in Zetland use the social web.

As the diagram suggests, the vast majority of respondents keep social networks for listening to music (52%) and chatting with friends (23%), which shares in total account for exactly three-quarters of people questioned. Nevertheless, a small minority of youngers are interested in writing a blog on the social web (4%).

It is also worth noticing that finding interesting information outnumbers watching films, which constitute 11% and 10% respectively.

Due to using social networks, the typical problem that a teenager faces is spending a considerable amount of time a day to no avail.

If young people improved their skills on the Internet, they more often would become reasonable, reliable and successful. To my mind, the simplest way of overcoming this wasting time is to organize contests linked with social media and directed on self-development. These competitions would be engrossing and advantageous for youngers.

To conclude, from my perspective, social networks have a significant role in our life, because there are plenty of opportunities provided by them, such as getting in touch with friends, being kept abreast of the latest news and creatively expressing yourself.

Secondly, these days teenagers are always busy with homework and extra lessons, that is why fast communication between friends, which is given by the social networks, is very convenient and handy.

Thirdly, in the Internet young people can easily swap the information. It might be useful while doing school projects on different topics.

Nevertheless, other people think that social media interaction might be hazard for children in both psychological and physical health. It is said that teenagers may get addicted to social networks. Therefore, they will lack life communication, which is necessary for all humans. What is more, the often use of social media might lead to problems with the eyesight.

Despite this argument, I think that parents should always control the time of communication in the Internet. Very often children do not know the verge, because of this, they need to be constantly monitored to avoid bad consequences.

All things considered, though communication in the Net might affect young people’s health and psychological condition, I strongly believe that social media interaction plays one of the most important roles in teenagers’ lives. Due to the Internet, they are given a wonderful opportunity to make friends, communicate and transfer the information.
