“Your mind is a magnet. You don’t attract what you need or what you want; you attract who you are. And I love who I am!” – Carlos Santana

You have probably heard of the law of attraction a million times. Do you know what it means? Do you really believe that you attract what you are, not what you want in life?

The law of attraction fascinates me and I’ve thought about it a lot. I’ve thought about its meaning.

You attract what you are and what you think about, whether or not you want it. It’s truly like some magnetic power.

It’s a real thing. If you don’t believe in it, you do believe in science. Well, the law of attraction is explained scientifically.

Quantum physics teaches that there are no limitations and that nothing is fixed. Energy is everywhere around us. It starts in our thoughts and it ends up in things that we created with our thoughts.

Think about it. It helps your personal growth. It fills your life with positivity. It helps you to connect with your true self and motivates you to work on personal development.

Here are some things that will help you understand how this law of attraction works.

You get what you give

Wayne Dyer once said, “It’s not that people who make money become successful, but that successful people attract money. They bring success to what they do.” I couldn’t agree more with this.

If you really want something, you have to work hard to get it. In life, nothing is ever just handed over on a silver platter.

This is particularly specific to millennials. This generation doesn’t want to work only for a paycheck, they want to do something they’re passionate about.

If you want to get what you want, you have to believe strongly that you deserve it and work for it. You’ll see that hard work really pays off.

We attract what we really are, not what we are looking for

Do you ever wonder why your relationships fail each time? Do you think it’s your fault or do you blame the other person?

We all want to find that special, forever kind of love. We spend years seeking that special person and eventually, after many disappointments and broken hearts, we stop hoping.

The problem is that we never think about ourselves. We have to be honest and ask ourselves: Are we perfect? Do we have some flaws?

I am not afraid to admit that I’m not perfect. I am a human being and I have so many imperfections and flaws, as we all do.

The better you become, the better you’ll attract

You attract what you are. Смотреть фото You attract what you are. Смотреть картинку You attract what you are. Картинка про You attract what you are. Фото You attract what you are

Before you start searching for your other half, you have to find yourself. You have to work on yourself which includes both physical, mental, and emotional self-care. You have to make some changes in your own life.

Before you start searching for someone who’ll love you in a very special way, you have to know that self-love is the most important love of all.

There is always room for self-improvement. Work on your self-development and positive results will be there in no time too.

Focus on making the best version of yourself. Fall in love with yourself. Embrace all your flaws and imperfections and fall in love with them as well.

You’ll be able to attract the love you’ve been seeking all your life and recognize it once it comes only if you truly find love within yourself first.

Because loving yourself is the foundation for every other love you can have.

Like attracts like

We are attracted to those who have very similar personalities to ours.

For example, people with a low frequency – those who aren’t pleased with their lives – attract each other, while people with a high frequency – those who love and value themselves and enjoy life – also attract each other.

If you are in a good mood, you’ll make people around you happy too. If you’re cranky all the time, people around you will start to avoid you.

You attract what you’re ready for

If you want to find someone who’ll love you, then you have to be ready for it. If you are still thinking about your last relationship or still healing from it, then you aren’t ready yet.

Take some more time. I know that you must feel lonely, but that shouldn’t be a reason to jump into a new relationship, because it won’t be what you’re looking for.

Allow yourself to heal first. You have to process the past if you want something new. Your energy is negative right now, and you’ll attract only the same, negative energy.

You attract what you believe

“It is not what you want that you attract; you attract what you believe to be true.” – Neville Goddard

Your self-esteem and self-confidence are very important to you. If you believe in yourself, then you’ll know that you can do whatever you put your mind to.

If you know your worth, you’ll never allow anyone to treat you any less than what you deserve. Also, you’ll only attract people who are the same as that – positive and confident.

You put boundaries on how you like to be treated and spoken to, and you dare to speak out when necessary.

That’s why you have to work on yourself. You have to boost your self-esteem. You have to know your self-worth.

You have to be comfortable with who you are – your looks, weight, height, and everything that represents you.

Once you start believing in yourself, you’ll see how much you actually deserve. You might be surprised by what you’ll attract then.

Think positive and you’ll attract positive

Norman Vincent Peale said, “If you have zest and enthusiasm, you attract zest and enthusiasm. Life does give back in kind.”

Forget about the wrong people and all the negative things around you. Focus only on good people and things. You’ll see that your life will become more beautiful.

We all have a choice to make: to be happy or not. It’s all up to us. I know that life can be difficult sometimes, but again, it’s up to us. You can always find something bright even in the darkest times.

People with high frequency will attract the same.

If you have that positive vibe radiating from you, you’ll attract someone with the same positive energy to share your life with – to share happiness and love.

How to attract positive energy?

You attract what you are. Смотреть фото You attract what you are. Смотреть картинку You attract what you are. Картинка про You attract what you are. Фото You attract what you are

The first thing is that you have to think positively in every situation. You know that everything is temporary in life, right? So, why bother with the things that will pass anyway?

The key to attracting positive energy is to think positively in every situation. There is no hopeless situation.

Surround yourself with people who make you happy. Visit places that make you happy. Do things that you like and fulfill you. Do whatever helps you raise your vibration.

Don’t stress about the future too much. Accept life as it comes, because you can’t control everything that happens.

Our only reality is now, and worrying about the future constantly won’t allow us to fully enjoy the present.

Think of all the beautiful things in your life. Count your blessings. Do you see that you have many things to be happy about?

Don’t forget to be thankful to God for all of them. Gratitude is one of the biggest ways to attract positive energy to yourself.

Some people did you wrong and they deserve your contempt, but don’t hate anyone. Hate is a negative emotion and it sends only negative vibrations.

Invest your energy into falling in love with life. There is so much joy in the world, you just have to discover it.

There are so many people that bring joy to your life, and those are the ones you need to cherish the most.

Don’t be afraid to do something that you’re passionate about, even though others are saying that you’re going to fail.

Remember, you are your biggest cheerleader. You are your only limit.

Think positive, be positive, and you’ll attract positive.

4 Reasons Why You Attract What You Are And Not What You Want

You may have heard the phrase you attract what you are but have you fully considered what it means? Like most people, you probably tend to focus more on what you want and when nothing seems to be going right, you wonder why you keep going through the same things in life.

Unfortunately, knowing what you want is not enough. You need to discover what lies within in order to attract positive results.

Here’s why you attract what you are and not what you want.

1. You don’t really try to look within yourself

It’s okay not to be perfect but you need to stop letting what you are do more harm than good.

Being a good person is not enough. Loving yourself is not enough. Having values is not enough. You attract not only what you are but also what you fear, what you feel, and what’s on your mind.

If you’re afraid of rejection, you might let people walk all over you. If you’re not happy with your life or who you are, you might settle for less than you deserve. If you think you think it’s too difficult to make your dreams come true, you might never reach your destination.

2. You don’t learn from your past mistakes

You see the same patterns, but you repeat them anyway. If you want good things to happen, you can’t let your fears, feelings, thoughts, and emotions control you.

You have to acknowledge your weaknesses and stop blaming your circumstances or others for your disappointments. No one forced you to continue suffering. You make your own choices, happiness, and reality.

Find the things about you that aren’t attractive or positive and work on yourself instead of expecting people to understand you. Decipher your patterns if you must. Be honest with yourself and do something about it.

3. You don’t act like you deserve better

The harsh truth is, you do attract what you think you deserve. What you get is in accordance with your unconscious thoughts and how you value yourself.

You may have high standards, but you let people take advantage of you anyway. You may believe you deserve better, but at the end of the day, your unconscious mind still allows you to settle with something you consider to be just ‘good enough for now.’

You can’t just look for something better in life if you don’t truly believe you deserve it. The only way you can get what you want is to actually believe that you are worthy of something great.

4. You don’t align your thoughts and feelings with your desires

The only way to attract what you want in life and achieve positive results is to change.

You first need to realize why you attract what you are and then make the necessary changes to move forward. Your life will never be different if you don’t change the way you see things, yourself, and your surroundings.

You have to develop the emotions, feelings, and thoughts that actually align with your desires. No matter what happens, never let anything or anyone break you. You need to stay strong even if you feel like you’re losing your strength.

Focus on the feeling of living the life you’ve always imagined. Visualize the kind of life you dream of and don’t give up.

5 Reasons You Attract What You Are, According to Psychology

The Law of Attraction is a popular self-growth method used and adored by both spiritualists and psychologists alike. It states that you attract what you are. This means that what you put out into the world, you get back for yourself.

It is based on the principle that like attracts like. This could apply to almost anything in your life that can be good, or bad. Romantic partners, friends, careers, and experiences can all be influenced by the power of attraction.

If you are dedicated enough to something, you can attract it to you with intention.

It is believed that if you focus enough on what you want, or don’t want, that will come to you. For example, if you are focused on getting a promotion, by thinking about it, imagining it, and considering it already done, then that promotion will be yours. If your mind is set on your future promotion, you will attract it to you.

Similarly, if you are stuck in a negative place, perhaps focused on your fears or doubts, those will come to you too. This could mean being so focused on fearing that your partner will leave you that you force your fears to come true.

Reasons You Attract What You Are

1. Your Thoughts Are Hyper-Focused

If you attract what your focus on, then you should be cautious not to let your thoughts get away from you.

Oftentimes we become fixated, or hyper-focused, on one train of thought. You might find yourself obsessing for days or weeks on end over things that make you anxious or feel depressed. This is a natural but hard cycle to break. This kind of obsessive thinking is exactly what the Law of Attraction is based upon though.

For example, you are stressed and your thoughts are all about that stress. According to the theory, this will only attract more stress to you.

On the other hand, if you are optimistic and your thoughts are positive and equally obsessed with the good things in your life, more positive things will be attracted to you.

If you are uncertain about why you are attracting certain circumstances in your life, take a look inward at where your thoughts are focused. As your hyper-focused thoughts dictate who you are, and you attract what you are, you have the power to choose whether negativity or positivity comes to you by overhauling the way you’re thinking.

2. The Strength of Your Self-Belief

The Law of Attraction only works if you truly believe that you deserve what you are trying to attract. As the theory goes, you attract what you are, and this means you have to wholeheartedly believe that you are, or can be, exactly what you’re hoping for.

People who use the Law of Attraction successfully have a genuine, strong sense of self-confidence and an unwavering belief that they can and will have whatever they desire.

In order to attract what you are, you have to be self-assured. If your thoughts are not as powerful and determined as they could be, your doubt will shine through. Whatever it is that you want, you have to believe you can have it. Any insecurity will result in mediocre results at best. If your thinking is only halfway, what you attract will be too.

3. Good Things Happen to Bad People

We’ve all heard the saying, and we all know people to whom this theory applies. Someone might be just awful, but they keep achieving their goals and good things just seem to keep happening to them, regardless of how little they deserve it.

If we apply the Law of Attraction, this is the result of their determined, unwavering confidence. When you attract what you are, what you are has to be set in stone.

We might think someone is a bad person because of their obvious arrogance, but that is exactly what is helping them attract what they want from life. They genuinely believe that they deserve success, sometimes to excess, but the stronger your belief, the better.

Fortunately, there is no need to let go of your morals just to increase your chances of attraction. You simply need to channel the kind of confidence these people have. They don’t seek approval or worry about whether they deserve good things, they just go out and get them. Their distinct lack of self-doubt only boosts their chances of attracting their goals.

4. The Influence of Karma

The Law of Karma also acts on the principle that you attract what you are, it only differs slightly in that Karma states that “what you put out into the universe will come back to you”.

Karma is a much more passive approach. The Law of Attraction requires you to attract what you are by much more active methods. While Karma works by doing acts and waiting for the universe to return something of equal value to you, the Law of Attraction requires you to deeply manifest what you want in order to attract it to you.

Sometimes, these two Laws can overlap and become confused (see; bad people getting good things!). For the most part, though, the two strengthen each other.

If your thoughts are focused positively on your goals and you are putting that good intention out into the world around you, then you will attract exactly what you want most. The universe will take kindly on you if you show it positivity and optimism.

5. Your Behaviours and Your Thoughts

In order to attract what you are, you need to think, live and be exactly that.

To attract success in your career, for example, you have to act and think as though it is already done. Head to work with the pride and effort of someone who has already achieved the promotions you want.

People who go about their lives as if they are already a total success, tend to become that anyway through sheer power of will. If you truly want to attract something, your behaviours have to match your thoughts.

You have to wake up every day and behave as if that is exactly what is going to happen. In order to attract what you are, you have to ensure that you are already whatever that might be.

This concept also applies in the reverse. You could live, breathe, eat, and sleep your goals. But if you have any doubt in your mind, it will be obvious in what you attract.

Self-doubt or a feeling that you aren’t worthy of achieving your dreams is enough to overshadow your outward confidence. To attract what you are, you have to whole-heartedly believe in what you are too.

Using the Law of Attraction, you attract what you are with intentional, direct thinking, and manifesting. Hyper-focus on exactly what you want from life can yield powerful results and a high success rate. Techniques like these have helped people all around the world achieve their dreams and so many people swear by it.

Whatever it is you want out of life, be it romance, career progression or academic success, or just more positivity in your day-to-day life, you can create a world where that will come right to you, just by dedicating yourself to the cause.

Why You Attract What You Are

Until you realize that you attract what you are and not what you want, things will not change. You want some extraordinary things to happen in your life, yet something limits them from actually happening. The barrier seems beyond your reach, but it is actually the way in which you see yourself.

So what can you do to change the odds in your favor? What could you do to attract what you want? Should you work on yourself and make some changes?

Well, up until you begin to think and act like the person who has the things you long for, you will never attract those things. Successful people have wealth because they believe and act in that way. So, you have to surround yourself with people who have what you want and spend time around things you desire.

So many of us work very hard and sacrifice a lot to create a great life. Yet most are unsatisfied, upset, or irritated. They cannot understand why life is so hard or why life keeps giving them such a poor hand. I won’t lie; it was my case. My life looked like a real roller-coaster.

Understanding What You Attract

Each instant you give your attention to what you desire, it acts like a domino effect, one domino colliding onto the next. It means that no matter if you feel good or bad you continue to attract and improve the way you think at the present moment.

Therefore, you have to understand that when you experience the way you would feel if you already had what you want, you will move towards the achievement of your desire. At one point in time, through actions, it will inevitably be attracted to you.

This universal law often called the law of attraction affects all of us and everything that surrounds you whether or not you believe or are aware of its existence. Once you realize how the Universe works, you can then understand why you attract what you are.

You Attract What You Are

Life is only hard because you believe that it is. What I mean by that is that life continues to distribute a lousy hand to the people who think that it will. So you do not attract what you want, but what you are.

However, a way to attract what you want is to change the way you think or speak in some circumstances. Create a different picture by getting a different mindset. Even if the image you picture is untrue for the moment, the longer you hold on to it, the more you will begin to believe and accept it.

Yet, in time, all that you are doing is telling yourself the truth. You just have to believe it beyond the shadow of a doubt. And to grasp how the law of attraction works, you have to view yourself as a magnet. That’s right! You are like a powerful magnet that attracts people, situations, places, things, and more which match the way you feel or vibrate.

You Attract like a Magnet

It means that when you feel good, you attract mostly good things in return. It will make you feel even better which creates more good in your life, just like the domino effect. On the other hand, if you feel bad or feel frustrated in undesirable circumstances, you invite more things that make you feel even more awful.

So, you have to pay attention to your thoughts and the way you feel at all times. The way you feel acts as a personal vibration, and it attracts it. The law of attraction is made of waves which draw similar frequencies.

As a result, you naturally act as a magnet at all times. You attract things that match your frequency. It is why the way you feel is a crucial element you need to consider so you can harness the power of the law of attraction.

Train Your Mind to Attract Your Desires

At any time you feel great, you attract what you want into your life. However, when you do not feel right, you are turning off the flow of good experiences in your existence. No matter where you are right now though, you can thoroughly improve your current state of being.

If you are in a bad time of your life right now, there are ways to train your mind to attract what you want. I know it is not easy but try to place your focus on images and thoughts that make you feel better. In this way, you improve the way you see things and attract and even match the new way in which you feel.

So, if you can keep a positive perspective that links with the thoughts of your desires, what you want will at some point manifest in your experience also. It is important to remember that constant attention what you desire creates a significant positive effect.

Focus Your Attention

As you focus your attention on what you want for long periods of time, the attraction between what you wish and yourself becomes very strong. And when you keep putting your focus on what you want, you then begin to attract the opportunities to realize what you want into your life.

If your thoughts do not match what you want, you have to switch your attention to things and ideas that do match it. Once you have changed the way you feel and think, the Universe has to create experiences of a similar frequency.

Remember that the only language the universe speaks is frequencies. Try your best to picture what you want in your mind to feel great and just see how things unfold.

Tips to Attract What You Want

Above here were a few of the basics ways to attract what you want but there are many other techniques you can use to apply the law of attraction in your life. No matter the adverse conditions you may find yourself in, you need to believe and expect things to turn around in your favor.

Rather than focusing on what it is you try to get, begin to work on changing the way you see things, yourself, and what surrounds you. When you change, you will start to get what you want, and positive results will show up. Realize why you attract what you are. Make the necessary changes in the way you feel. And when you do, you will begin to attract the things you want into your life.

We Attract Into Our Lives What We Are

According to recent research studies, most people choose their friends on a proximity basis.

If they’re nearby, they’re simply more likely to become a friend.

Think back to when you were in a school classroom. Who did you make friends with? It probably wasn’t the people with similar ideological values; more likely, it was those sitting next to you, or group project partners.

One of Jim Rohn’s most famous axioms: “ You are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with.”

Are you someone who settles — in dating, jobs, health, finances, relationships, and lifestyle?

Are you lazy? Unmotivated? Bored?

Do you even care?

Odds are, the 5 people you spend the most time with have similar answers to yours.

If you surround yourself with losers, you probably won’t be a winner.

But if you surround yourself with winners…

You’ll probably become a winner yourself, eventually. Even despite yourself.

What Are You Attracting?

Most people — the majority of society — won’t ever achieve true success.

This is largely because they attract characteristics of who they are — lazy, settling, and low standards. As such, they attract people and circumstances that match these values.

The funny thing is, most people desperately want success, or at least the “idea” of success. They want the freedom to work their own hours, to vacation, to travel, and to live a fulfilling life, all with financial stability.

But simply wanting an idea won’t attract it into your life — not without action. In fact, the only things you’re attracting into your life is what you are.

Here’s a sneaky truth about the standards of your life — your life reflects your standards.

If you have low standards, your life will undoubtedly reflect that.

Codependent, emotionally stunted individuals rarely attract mature, emotionally healthy romantic partners.

High performers focused on personal development rarely pair with individuals with low standards.

You attract what you are.

Imagine you had a twin — something who was identical to you with behavior, values, and ideals.

What would they be like?

If you described this person to someone else, what would you say?

Would you hesitate to describe them as a positive, motivated individual with high standards? Would you be lying if you said this person was a brave, honest, mature, healthy person with clear goals and plans of action to achieve success?

That type of person is rare. Most of society is ordinary. Most people don’t care about personal development, growth, or becoming better versions of themselves.

Why should it surprise these individuals they only attract people like themselves?

If you want to achieve success and become your best self, you need to surround yourself with people who have higher standards than you.

You Are Limiting Your Success

“Your level of success will rarely exceed your level of personal development, because success is something attract by the person you become.” Hal Elrod, The Miracle Morning

If you desperately want success in some area of life — losing weight, finding a unicorn in the dating world, becoming debt-free — these successes are actually attracted to a specific type of person.

The type of people that attract this type of success are very different from each other, but they all share some common characteristics.

One of the main traits is an insatiable desire to learn more. They are intensely focused on personal development and becoming better versions of themselves.

Your level of success will rarely exceed your level of personal growth. Personal growth requires characteristics that are prerequisites to achieve any meaningful success: mental resilience, humility, consistency, and willingness to overcome difficult obstacles.

Athletes and fitness junkies rarely develop romantic relationships with individuals who don’t value their lifestyle of hard work, practice, and dedication.

If you want to begin achieving true success, you need to start working on personal development.

Here’s where you can find free or affordable courses to get you started on personal growth:
