No one can help others all time but in this scenario a man who did that as his lifetime achievement by creating numerous of innovative machines to reduce peoples work load in food industry. Yes, Your guess was right. It’s World’s leading SS fabricator and manufacture Mr. Santhosh Thilagamani.

Like a normal middle-class family child santhosh was also brought-up with the only goal to get place in a good company for a worthy salary. But, Santhosh had other ideas he started analysing people like why they work? for whom they work? at the end result he came to know our top priority is FOOD then only rest other. So, he believed his future work should be in that industry. He started analysing how the work get done in that industry, at one point he worried about the fact that for a person to eat 10 mins of tasty food minimum 2 person has to work hard for 1 hour. So he wants to eradicate this system and to help people to simplify their work in an healthy manner. This base root of idea helps him for more innovative ideas on creating machines for food industry. some of his innovations like Vegetable cutting machine, chappathi making machine, blender, baking oven and also glass showcases, chimneys in an industry standard quality. He has branches in all states of India and also on process to open branches on worldwide.

All our dreams and our aspirations can only come true if we do something about them. How soon? The answer to that question lies on when we will start.

We can’t expect immediate result, especially if we’re not doing anything. Whatever we want to be part of our future depends on what we are willing to do in the present. Just like what the quote above says, “The future is created by what you do today, not tomorrow.”

A successful entrepreneur did not build his business overnight. It may have taken him years to achieve that. What if he continues to grow his business today? He would be able to see more improvements in the future. It is all about what we are doing today.

If you want a bright future then you need to act now, not tomorrow or the next week. Time is the essence here. Losing a day, a week, or a few months can significantly affect our future. So stop wasting your days. Make it happen today!

My Daily Routine

It’s still dark outside when I wake up for a 12k run in the park (3 days a week) as part of my training for my first marathon.

I get back home to take a shower and prepare my son, Yali for kindergarten.

Dropping off Yali at his kindergarten after a long discussion we have about his imaginary world and life in general.

Drinking morning coffee with my wife who is on maternity leave from her product role at Taboola, and have the chance to get some smiles from my 4-month-old daughter, Goni.

Let’s get to work

I drive to the office at this time to avoid traffic and arrive just in time for breakfast with my Otonomo friends – after a morning run I never give up a decent breakfast.

After breakfast, it’s time for the most complicated task of the day: Decide what to order for lunch. Having so many options make it harder to pick – and somehow, we always feel that we could have ordered something better.

First thing, I review my tasks and follow up with my co-workers. Working at Otonomo, I enjoy starting my day not only because of my great colleagues, but also because it is exciting to be a part of a company that has an important mission: collecting data from car users to reduce traffic congestion and prevent car accidents and to provide drivers with better services.

Our daily team meeting

We get aligned on each other’s tasks and progress, to see if anyone needs help in solving any problems or unblocking bottlenecks.

My team is responsible for the platform which is used by external users and is the face of Otonomo. Half of the team is responsible for making things look pretty and my half is responsible to ensure that the platform runs smoothly.

We usually order in and eat together in the kitchen. We finish off our lunch break with coffee and a ping-pong tournament. I sometimes think that the best Ping Pong players in the country are hiding in my workplace.

Getting things done

Time to work independently and with my coworkers on my and their tasks. My day is divided between coding and meetings with product and other development teams. The company culture at Otonomo enables me to be involved in the development of our product, have a voice when development decisions are being done and get a full picture of our product and where its going.

Feature review meeting

Another team presents a feature they developed, and we provide them with meaningful feedback.

During the afternoon, we have different sports activities in Otonomo led by professional coaches. I of course never miss out on the running team.

After the kids are asleep, my wife Gal and I have some time to catch up, hear stories of each other’s day and eat dinner in front of Netflix.

Playing Xbox with my friends. Gaming has been one of my favorite hobbies. There aren’t too many things that make me feel younger and happier than a good time on a “Call of duty” session.

Where did you serve in the IDF: In the military I served in IDF’s Armored Corps and I’m still in reserve duty.

How did I get into tech: I studied industrial engineering in Ben Gurion University and become a software developer following an opportunity I had to practice software development during my first position as a BI developer.

This is one of my all-time favorite quotes and this has been my wallpaper on whatever device that I use. So I would like to start my stories with this.

I am what you would call a procrastinator. As you may know, procrastination is postponing things to your future self and not ready to deal with it at the moment even though you clearly can. I procrastinate things left, right, center and all I have gotten is being stuck in my life, job, mindset. One day I decided to do a Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on my life choices. To go over what did I do or what did I not do to be in this situation of life being stuck and unhappy.

By the end, one thing that I found I was great at is procrastinating things. Be it some work that I wanted to do for my job, household things, going shopping, cleaning my room, etc. We often think procrastination is holding out things that are less important and something that has a lot of time to meet the deadline. But let me tell you even a very simple thing like saying “I will do this in five minutes” is the gateway drug to procrastination. Whatever it is if you think it has to be done DO IT NOW! There is no better time than now.

Since it is an established fact that I’m a master procrastinator, I have been meaning to write in the Medium for almost 4 months now. But I always found a reason to push it the next week reasoning to myself that I need some topics first, script it, read through it, etc. And that is what we do to justify our procrastination.

We procrastinate things in the name of prioritization.

Prioritizing works is an efficient way to function but that has been one of the most used reasons for procrastinating things that need to be done. Understanding the difference between the two P’s Prioritizing and Procrastination is the key to doing it now and soaring up in life. Whatever it is do it now.
