There are many argues about television. Some people think that watching TV is the waste of time and there is nothing to watch, actually. Other people, especially, seniors prefer to watch TV and they really trust it. To be honest, I am not a fan of it. I agree with the opinion that nowadays there is almost nothing to watch. However there are the kinds of TV programmes which I really like watching. They are singing contests or talent contests.
Существует много споров о телевидении. Некоторые люди думают, что просмотр телевизора – это пустая трата времени, и на самом деле смотреть там нечего. Другие люди, особенно, пожилые, предпочитают смотреть телевизор, и они действительно доверяют телевидению. Честно говоря, я не поклонник этого. Я согласна с мнением, что сегодня смотреть практически нечего. Однако существуют виды телевизионных программ, которые мне очень нравятся. Это песенные конкурсы или конкурсы талантов.
In my opinion, it is a very good opportunity for talented and artistic people to present themselves. For example, sometimes they cannot find the support among the most people they know. So it often happens that such people find the support among wide audience.
На мой взгляд, это очень хорошая возможность для талантливых и творческих людей себя показать. Например, иногда они не могут найти поддержку среди большинства знакомых. Поэтому часто бывает, что такие люди находят поддержку среди широкой аудитории.
My favourite TV programme is The Voice. Besides, I like watching not only Russian version of this programme but the versions of different countries. The Voice is a singing contest. It is quite interesting format of the programme when the jury does not see a participant, so they just listen to him or her. Then if someone of the jury like the singing of a participant, they will press the button and turn to a participant, so it means that he or she will continue the participation in this show. If no one turns to a participant, he or she will not participate in this contest.
Моя любимая телевизионная программа – «Голос». Кроме того, мне нравится смотреть не только русскую версию этой программы, но и версии разных стран. «Голос» – это песенный конкурс. Довольно интересный формат программы, когда жюри не видят участника, они просто слушают его. Затем, если кому-то из членов жюри нравится пение участника, он нажимает кнопку и поворачивается к участнику, это значит, участник продолжит свое участие в этом шоу. Если никто не поворачивается к участнику, он не будут участвовать в этом конкурсе.
I admire the singing of the participants of this contest. I think there are so many talented and artistic singers among them. I really appreciate this show.

My favourite TV programme
Look, Max, let`s talk about television and its importance nowadays.
I think that television is one of the most popular entertainment nowadays. A lot of people pass at least a couple of hours a day in front of the TV-set. And it doesn`t surprise me. Because there are many interesting TV programmes, series, movies that are offered to the spectators.
In my family we watch TV in the evening. My parents always put on TV at 8 o`clock when there is news, because it`s extremely important to know what is going on in the world. We also watch some series together. We like «The Kitchen» and «Sherlock Holmes».
But my favourite TV programme is «Orel & Reshka». It is about travelling. Two young persons visit different countries. One of them has got unlimited amount of money and another one has got just 100 US dollars. They show how you can spend time in each country of the world in two completely different ways. I really enjoy watching this programme because I`m fond of travelling. In future I`d like to visit a lot of places all over the world.
To sum up, I want to say that television extends the knowledge about the world around us. It helps to realize that it is so beautiful and so different.

UM….My TV station would be CBBC and my program would be the Voice.
Well my favorite TV program is Animal Planet which isn’t really a program its a channel where its got loads of Animal Programs which I love to watch. The reason I love to watch them programs is because when I am older I would love to be somethin to do with animals. These programs hep me by teaching me about amazing animals.As well as watching them I love to watch Nickloden which has got loads of kids programs such as: Sponge Bob,Icarly and much muh more. Futhermore I like Disney Channel which has : Good luck charile,So ramdom,Austain and ally and loads more.
My favariot TV station is Disney channel which is home to some of the coolest programs: Good Luck Charlie, Shake it up and Victorious!
My favourate progamme has to be Would I Lie To You and Waterloo Road because they both are quite funny!
My favourite programme is 4oclock club and tracy beaker on the channel cbbc
I do enjoy watching the only way is Essex Jodie and a lot of others think I look like joey Essex, I would have to say Water loo road.
My favourite programe ( by far ) has to be Eastenders because it is really entertaining and I have watched it for at least 2 years. My favourite ‘kids’ channel’s are :Tracy Beaker Returns, The Story Of Tracy Beaker and Blue Peater because they are amazing and brilliant!!
