Yes, I consider myself as healthy eater. By having low carb-food plus avoid fatty food, soft drink or food that have a lot of sugar, I can control my weight and my diet. However, once or twice a week I allow my self to have unhealthy food as deep fried chicken, pizza, pasta which help me no a be a health freak. For me taste and health must go together otherwise it is easier to lose yourself in unhealthy food paradise.

Hello!I like this topic as it’s all about health.I am a healthy eater and it does matter to me what I eat.I think it’s better to go for the food which is healthy,however,I really don’t think that healthy food doesn’t taste good.If one knows to cook well,s/he can get both taste and health together into food.Apart from healthy eating, we should also have a healthy life style.I would also like to share a little experience of mine,I was a bit well-proportioned about 7 years ago.I started losing weight and the first thing I got rid off was the habit of over eating.I started to take morning walks and in a month it showed me good results.On my way to slimming down, I tried examine what my metabolism needed and what should have been my action plan according to that.I now walk daily and do yoga and I don’t have any problem with my weight.Yoga helps to reduce weight a great deal.I have been doing it over a year and I have got excellent results.

I used to be the healthy eater when I was younger. I chose what I ate very carefully. I did not eat fatty meat, sweets and any fast food. I tried to eat small portions but regularly. This was until I finished my studies. But now I have small children and no time to think about the healthy food for me. Of course I care about my children but not about me. My diet bases on sweet coffee. It helps me to survive. Fortunately, I live with my parents-in-law and my mother-in-law cooks very good dishes so my children can eat very tasty and healthy food. Of course from time to time I allow my children to eat chips or burgers or any other fast food. Children loves unhealthy food because it is very tasty.

Diet varies between different countries in the world.Generally, food contains three kind of material named: carbohydrates, proteins, fats and minerals. I’m very keen on junk food and fresh fruit, and also vegetables. I eat a lot of hamburgers and chips, I hate sweets things. I don’t eat much cakes and chocolates. I also keen on salads. I think my diet is healthy. My favourite food is kind of food, which consist of vegetables, meat named sbzighormeh. My least favourite food is vegetarian’s foods. They are not tasty at all. Even though, you can get protein, iron, vitamins. In I think there is nothing wrong with eating meat. People eat meat all over the world. It is normal part of a lot of people’s diet. However, as I read somewhere meat eaters have 30 per cent more problems with heart diseases than vegetarian. If I invite a friend round for a meal I’m likely to offer them kabab. I would recommend to a visitor chicken toast which is special dish in my country. I prefer eating at home because I believe preparing food at home is healthier than take away food. We can use fresh food, less fatty, more vegetables as an ingredient. In contrast cook prefers using unhealthier ingredient in their dishes. To be honest with you, although food at home is better for our health, restaurant served tasty food.

My weight doesn’t depend on what’s on my plate but on what’s on my mind. In other words, eating is a STATE OF MIND rather than constant counting calories and calculating whether the diet is well balanced or not. If I feel I can control my life and successfully strive to achieve my goals then I don’t have to watch my diet as it somewhow «balances by itself». I’m happy, healthy and slim. But there are also worse moments when everything seems to be falling apart and I can’t see any light at the end of the tunnel. Then I eat just anything, usually fatty or sweet things and I become fat and I hate myself and the whole world around me. So, I think we should focus on our emotions rather than on looking for miraculos diets which will certainly leave us even more disappointed and depressed.

In France there is a public campaign that suggests people to eat 5 fruit or vegetables per day. I love vegetables, such as green bean, spinach or cauliflower, so for me it is not a problem to eat them every day. However, concerning the dessert… … actually there is a wide range of desserts, such as yoghurts or chocolate cakes that attract my attention more than fruits, so sometime I have to force myself to eat some fruits. Sometimes, it is also difficult to adhere to this public campaign because the good fruits or vegetables are difficult to find or are very expensive.

I´ve always been a health eater. However, just when I´ve consulted a nutritionist in order to have a more balanced diet, I´ve started to introduce more wholemeal products in my day by day meals. The nutritionist also has taught me how to prepare some dishes using whole grains properly, and they are really delicious. Do you taste Indian food? Many foreigners who tour India find difficult to eat Indian food. Because it is hot and spicy but very tasty. So we have become accustomed for taste rather thinking of healthy food. We have north Indian food and south Indian food. Each differ its taste. So people like sweets and some prefer hot chilies. When you take the mushroom growth of catering colleges in recent times, I don’t think the students are taught about how should prepare healthy food. Instead they taught only about the taste of the food. You can see in the hotels in the metros people won’t sit and eat. They just stand and have something. Is it healthy food? May be tasty food.
